Martin's Custom Shop heeft met deze D28 uit 2016 iets bijzonders gemaakt. De combinatie van een Cocobolo klankkast met een Adirondack sparren bovenblad is zeldzaam, en levert een klank op die zowel krachtig als gedetailleerd is. Voeg daar het prachtige Diamonds & Squares en herringbone inglegwerk aan toe, en je hebt een dreadnought die niet alleen een genot voor het oor is maar ook voor het oog!
Het Cocobolo voor de klankkast is een bijzondere keuze die deze gitaar onderscheidt van de standaard palissander D28. Dit dichte, resonante hout geeft de gitaar een heldere, open klank met prachtige overtonen en een indrukwekkende projectie! Het Adirondack sparren bovenblad, behandeld met Vintage Tone System, zorgt voor een sound die direct volwassen en doorleefd aanvoelt!
Deze D28 uit 2016 heeft al wat speelsporen op zijn body opgelopen, met name op de achterzijde en wat dings en speelsporen op zijn bovenblad. Verder heeft de gitaar op zijn hals en slagplaat lichte speelsporen opgelopen. Desalniettemin ziet hij er schoon uit en verkeert hij in excellente conditie. Wordt geleverd in een luxe blauwe koffer met zijn originele custom shop boekje.

The combination of a Cocobolo body with an Adirondack spruce top on this D28 is rare and delivers a sound that is both powerful and detailed. The Cocobolo used for the body is a unique choice that sets this guitar apart from the standard rosewood D28. This dense, resonant wood gives the guitar a clear, open tone with stunning overtones and impressive projection. The Adirondack spruce top, treated with the Vintage Tone System, provides a sound that feels mature and played-in right from the start.
This D28 from 2016 has some playing marks on its body, particularly on the back, as well as some dings and wear on the top. There are also light playing marks on the neck and pickguard. Nevertheless, it looks clean and is in excellent condition. It comes in a luxurious blue case with its original Custom Shop booklet.

Diese D28 aus dem Jahr 2016 weist einige Spielspuren am Korpus auf, besonders auf der Rückseite, sowie ein paar Dings und Abnutzungsspuren auf der Decke. Auch am Hals und Schlagbrett sind leichte Spielspuren vorhanden. Trotzdem präsentiert sie sich sauber und in exzellentem Zustand. Geliefert wird sie in einem luxuriösen blauen Koffer mit dem originalen Custom Shop Booklet.
