Met een dreadnought body, een klankkast van Braziliaans palissander en een top van Sitka sparren is de D35 een gitaar die een vertrouwd gevoel geeft. De mahoniehouten hals is voorzien van een comfortabel 'round V'-profiel en is een genot om te spelen. Het hout ziet er ook prachtig uit en geeft deze dreadnought een volle en diepe klank die bij strumming zijn krachtige power laat horen.
De klank en speelbaarheid zijn dus allebei prima in orde. Met een ingebouwde piezo pickup kan hij daarnaast ook dienst doen in de studio of op het podium. Hij heeft echter wel enig onderhoud en reparaties gehad waardoor de conditie onder de noemer 'fair' valt.
Zo is er een reparatie uitgevoerd aan de kop waarna de achterkant bedekt is met een donkerbruine laklaag en de kopplaat aan de voorkant is vervangen tot aan het 'Martin & Co' logo. Op het bovenblad is een crack gerepareerd en zijn er op de ebbenhouten brug 2 kleine stippen ingelegd. Om de speelbaarheid goed te houden is de topkam opgehoogd en het zadel vervangen.
Wordt geleverd in een koffer met TFOA paspoort.

With a dreadnought-style body, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, and Sitka spruce top, the D35 is a guitar with a familiar feel. The mahogany neck features a comfortable 'soft V' profile and is a joy to play. The tonewoods look beautiful and give this dreadnought a full and deep sound that demonstrates its power when strumming.
The sound and playability are therefore both fine. With a built-in piezo pickup, it can also serve in the studio or on stage. However, it has had some maintenance and repairs, which means that the condition is 'fair'.
For example, a repair was carried out on the headstock, after which the back was covered with a dark brown lacquer layer and the headplate at the front was replaced up to the 'Martin & Co' decal. A crack has been repaired on the top and 2 small dots have been inlaid on the ebony bridge. To keep the playability optimal, the nut has been raised and the saddle has been replaced.
Comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport.
