In 1936 introduceerde Gibson de Advanced Jumbo als reactie op de populariteit van grotere gitaren die meer volume en bas konden produceren. Het model was echter maar kort in productie, waardoor originele exemplaren schaars en zeer gewild zijn. De Advanced Jumbo stond bekend om zijn buitengewone balans tussen kracht en helderheid, en werd door Gibson destijds gepresenteerd als hun antwoord op de groeiende vraag naar grotere klankkastmodellen.
Het Adirondack sparren bovenblad zorgt voor een open, dynamische klank met uitstekende articulatie, terwijl het palissander van de klankkast diepte en warmte toevoegt. De scalloped X-bracing geeft het bovenblad de vrijheid om optimaal te resoneren, wat resulteert in een rijke, complexe toon die zowel voor fingerstyle als flatpicking uitstekend geschikt is: een waar werpaard!
Deze Advanced Jumbo uit 2023 ziet er nog enorm schoon uit en verkeert in excellente conditie. Hij heeft slechts minimale speelsporen opgelopen naast zijn verouderde finish, zo heeft hij lichte speelsporen op zijn slagplaat en een paar minuscule dings op zijn bovenblad. Wordt geleverd in een koffer met zijn echtheidscertificaat.

This 2023 Advanced Jumbo still looks extremely clean and is in excellent condition. It has only minimal playwear in addition to its aged finish, such as light marks on the pickguard and a few tiny dings on the top. Comes in a hardshell case with its certificate of authenticity.
