De Jet DS begint met een geselecteerde mahonie body met esdoorn top die de kenmerkende sterke, punchy respons produceert die de Jet beroemd heeft gemaakt. De DynaSonicâ„¢ brug- en halspickups vormen een aanvulling op de 'chambered' body van de Jet DS om versterkte heldere, glinsterende hoge tonen en een gedefinieerde, rijke bas te produceren voor een duidelijke klank die door de mix heen snijdt.
