Kauffman Guitars bouwt gitaren die een eerbetoon zijn aan de iconische modellen die de gitaarwereld al zo lang domineren. Vanuit het hoofdkwartier in Alphen aan de Rijn worden de gitaren zorgvuldig voorzien van een prachtig verouderde look die het instrument een ingespeeld gevoel geven.
Zo is de achterzijde van de hals voorzien van een dunne laklaag en zijn de randen afgerond voor een comfortabel speelgevoel. De paulownia body is niet alleen ontzettend licht van gewicht, maar ook voorzien van een klassieke Lake Placid Blue finish die teruggrijpt naar lang vervlogen tijden.
De degelijke hardware van Gotoh zorgt ervoor dat het instrument gedurende lange periodes stabiel te bespelen is. Kauffmann's eigen Slightly Overwound S-elementen bieden ook de tonale kwaliteiten die de gitaar eer aandoen.
De gitaar wordt geleverd in een gigbag van Boston.
