Met het idee om een Amerikaans gebouwde banjo te introduceren met een klassiekere look, heft Deering de Goodtime Artisan Banjo’s geïntroduceerd. Deze banjo’s hebben een Midnight Esdoorn toets, met een parelmoer Artisan stijl inleg op de toets, gegraveerd Artisan Scroll logo op de kop, op de gebrandschilderde hals en kop.
De rand is gemaakt van viool kwaliteit hout dat ook op professionele Deering Banjo’s wordt gebruikt, en dat geeft deze Goodtime Artisan Banjo een ronde, rijke en volle toon. Door de open achterkant is de banjo laag van gewicht, dat maakt de banjo goed om mee te reizen, of voor op de luie stoel thuis, maar het maakt de banjo ook makkelijk bespeelbaar voor kinderen om te bespelen en te leren.Â
