Bourgeois Touchstone OM Vintage/TS
De Touchstone-serie is het product van een samenwerking tussen de boutique-gitaarbouwer Dana Bourgeois en Eastman. Bourgeois stuurt de reeds gevoicde tops op vanuit Amerika, waarna de gitaren in China worden afgebouwd door een selecte groep door Bourgeois getrainde luthiers van Eastman. De gitaren gaan daarna terug naar Lewiston, Maine voor een laatste inspectie, voicing en afstelling.
De gitaren uit de Touchstone-serie zijn opgebouwd uit de meest hoogwaardige materialen die door Bourgeois geselecteerd worden, en door het grote bereik van Eastman worden ingekocht. Hierdoor heeft Bourgeois de beschikking over een groot volume aan houtsoorten, en kan zo de materialen van de hoogste kwaliteit selecteren.
Met een Alaskan Sitka sparren bovenblad met Adirondack bracing produceert de Touchstone OM een prachtige gebalanceerde klank die het beste in de gitarist naar boven haalt. Aangevuld met een schitterende Indisch palissander klankkast en mahonie hals met ebben toets is het duidelijk dat Bourgeois alleen het beste voor zijn gitaren wenst.
De naam Bourgeois staat voor absolute topkwaliteit, en door het buitengewone vakmanschap van Bourgeois zijn deze gitaren deze naam op de headstock meer dan waard!
The Touchstone Series is the product of a collaboration between boutique guitar builder Dana Bourgeois and Eastman. Bourgeois sends the already voiced tops in from America, after which the guitars are finished in China by a select group of Eastman luthiers trained by Bourgeois. The guitars then go back to Lewiston, Maine for a final inspection, voicing and adjustment.
The Touchstone Series guitars are constructed from the highest quality materials selected by Bourgeois and sourced from Eastman's wide selection of suppliers. As a result, Bourgeois has a large volume of wood types at its disposal, enabling it to select the materials of the highest quality.
Featuring an Alaskan Sitka spruce top with Adirondack bracing, the Touchstone OM produces a beautifully balanced tone that brings out the best in the guitarist. Completed with a beautiful Indian rosewood back and sides and mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, it is clear that Bourgeois only wants the best for his guitars.
