Echte kenners weten het al; als je eenmaal een Collings hebt bespeeld wil je niets anders meer! Deze Eastside LC Deluxe de perfecte belichaming van dit statement, want de gitaar is zoals elke Collings onberispelijk afgewerkt en speelt en klinkt ongeëvenaard goed. 

De volledig holle Eastside LC Deluxe  maakt gebruik van een gelamineerde constructie, waarbij Collings dankzij uitgebreid onderzoek en goed luisterwerk een exceptionele respons en klankkwaliteit weet te bereiken die perfect past bij elk LC gitaar. Het esdoorn dat is gebruikt voor deze gitaar is werkelijk prachtig om te zien, en geeft de gitaar een fantastische uitstraling. De details die Collings heeft toegevoegd maken de gitaar helemaal af; ivoroid bindingen sieren de gitaar rondom, en de handgemaakte hardware zoals de ebben brug en slagplaat, het staartstuk en de volume- en toonknop tillen de gitaar naar een ongekend hoog niveau.

Een mooie gitaar is echter nergens zonder een mooie sound, en op dat gebied heeft Collings zoals altijd een goede partner aan Lollar Pickups. De enkele Charlie Christian pickup geeft de gitaar een exceptionele Jazz-sound, maar is uiteraard ook geschikt voor vele andere muziekstijlen. De bespeelbaarheid is zoals eerder genoemd buitengewoon omdat Collings de gitaar niet alleen met een PLEK-machine vlakt, maar de frets ook nog eens met de hand afrondt voor een ongekend speelcomfort. 

Tenslotte is deze Eastside LC Deluxe ook weer voorzien van de onberispelijke glanzende nitrocellulose Collings-finish waarbij de verschillende lagen met de hand worden geschuurd voor een spiegelglad resultaat en een optimale akoestische respons. De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van Ameritage.

The fully hollow Eastside LC Deluxe uses a laminated construction, where through extensive research and careful listening, Collings has achieved an exceptional response and sound quality that fits perfectly with any LC guitar. The maple used for this guitar is truly beautiful to look at, and gives the guitar a fantastic look. The details that Collings has added complete the guitar; Ivoroid bindings decorate the guitar all around, and the handmade hardware such as the ebony bridge and pickguard, the tailpiece and the volume and tone knobs take the guitar to an unprecedented high level.


However, a beautiful guitar is nothing without a beautiful sound, and in that area Collings, as always, has a good partner in Lollar Pickups. The single Charlie Christian pickup gives the guitar an exceptional Jazz sound, but is of course also suitable for many other music styles. As mentioned, the playability is exceptional because Collings not only flattens the guitar with a PLEK machine, but also rounds the frets by hand for unprecedented playing comfort.


Finally, this Eastside LC Deluxe also features the impeccable glossy nitrocellulose Collings finish, where the various layers are sanded by hand for a mirror-smooth result and an optimal acoustic response. The guitar comes with TFOA passport in an Ameritage hardshell case.

Die vollständig hohle Eastside LC Deluxe verwendet eine laminierte Konstruktion, bei der Collings durch umfangreiche Forschung und sorgfältiges Zuhören eine außergewöhnliche Ansprache und Klangqualität erreicht hat, die perfekt zu jeder LC-Gitarre passt. Der für diese Gitarre verwendete Ahorn ist wirklich schön anzusehen und verleiht der Gitarre ein fantastisches Aussehen. Die von Collings hinzugefügten Details vervollständigen die Gitarre; Ivoroid-Bindings zieren die Gitarre rundum und die handgefertigte Hardware wie der Steg und das Schlagbrett aus Ebenholz, der Saitenhalter sowie die Lautstärke- und Tonregler heben die Gitarre auf ein beispiellos hohes Niveau.


Allerdings ist eine schöne Gitarre nichts ohne einen schönen Klang, und auf diesem Gebiet hat Collings wie immer mit Lollar Pickups einen guten Partner. Der Single-Tonabnehmer von Charlie Christian verleiht der Gitarre einen außergewöhnlichen Jazz-Sound, eignet sich aber natürlich auch für viele andere Musikstile. Wie bereits erwähnt, ist die Spielbarkeit außergewöhnlich, da Collings die Gitarre nicht nur mit einer PLEK-Maschine flach macht, sondern auch die Bünde von Hand abrundet, um einen beispiellosen Spielkomfort zu erzielen.


Schließlich verfügt dieser Eastside LC Deluxe auch über die makellos glänzende Nitrozellulose-Collings-Oberfläche, bei der die verschiedenen Schichten von Hand geschliffen werden, um ein spiegelglattes Ergebnis und eine optimale akustische Reaktion zu erzielen. Die Gitarre wird mit TFOA-Pass in einem Ameritage-Koffer geliefert.
