The Fairytale is een Lapsteel Guitar met een massief mahonie body, twee pickups, een geïntegreerde capodaster en een briljant Multibender brugsysteem. Dit is echt een "next generation" Lapsteel-gitaar die voortbouwt op de in 2008 geïntroduceerde Pomona 6 Lapsteel.
De Fairytale Lapsteel heeft een nieuwe combinatie van elementen met een nieuwe PH90 SingleTwin singlecoil in de brugpositie en een GrandVintage humbucker in de halspositie. De vrij instelbare Multibender brug kan worden bediend met de rand van je hand. Er kunnen maximaal zes hendels (één per snaar) worden gemonteerd op deze brug waarmee de toonhoogte naar een vooraf ingestelde instelling kan worden verhoogd of verlaagd.
Bovendien zorgt de geïntegreerde verbeterde capo, die is bevestigd op een rail die langs de geanodiseerde zwarte aluminium toets loopt, voor bewegingsvrijheid tussen alle toonhoogten zonder dat je de typische lapsteel riffs en licks die afhankelijk zijn van open snaren op hoeft te offeren. Een "rolling" topkam zorgt voor toonzuiverheid bij het gebruik van de multibender. De Duesenberg Speed-potmeters werken met een pad van slechts 70˚ waarmee je typische zwellende "wah" -effecten van de lapsteel kan bereiken. Inclusief koffer.
The Fairytale is a solid mahogany body, dual pickup Lapsteel Guitar, featuring an integrated capodaster and a brilliant Multibender bridge system. It is the next generation Lapsteel guitar, sporting some improvements over the Pomona 6 Lapsteel which was introduced in 2008.
The Fairytale Lapsteel sports a new pickup combination with the new PH90 SingleTwin single coil and a GrandVintage humbucker, which deliver great tone and transparency in any situation. The freely configurable Multibender is operated with the heel of the hand. Up to six levers (one per string) are mountable, which allow you to either raise or lower the notes on the individual strings to a preset setting.
Furthermore the integrated improved capo, which runs along a track on the anodized black aluminum fretboard, enables freedom of movement between all keys without sacrificing the typical lapsteel riffs and licks that rely on open strings. A roll nut provides tuning stability when using the multibender. The Duesenberg Speed pot controls work with a path of just 70˚ in order to achieve the lapsteel’s typical swelling “wah” effects. Included is a perfectly fitting hardshell case.
