De CE 24 combineert PRS's traditionele body-combinatie van de mahonie achterkant en esdoorn top met een bolt-on esdoorn hals en palissander toets. De hals heeft een Pattern Thin carve en satijnen nitro finish voor een natuurlijk, verslavend gevoel.
Om de inherente klank en helderheid van de gitaar verder te maximaliseren, is de CE 24 voorzien van PRS 85/15 pickups, die Paul heeft ontworpen om opmerkelijke helderheid te hebben, evenals uitgebreide hoge en lage tonen. De elektronica bestaat uit een volume- en push/pull toonregeling met 3-standen schakelaar voor in totaal zes klassieke sounds.
