Epiphone 1962 ES335 Reissue Vintage Burst

Epiphone introduceert nu, in samenwerking met Gibson Custom, met trots de ES335 Reissue uit 1962, een gitaar die sterk geïnspireerd is op Gibson Custom's ES335-modellen, maar doelbewust gebaseerd is op een modeljaar dat Gibson Custom momenteel niet opnieuw uitbrengt: 1962. Populaire kenmerken zoals afgeronde cutaways, small block-inlays en een snel spelend, slank halsprofiel waren allemaal aanwezig op de Gibson ES335. 

De Epiphone 1962 ES335 Reissue heeft een semi-hollow body van 5 lagen esdoorn/populier met afgeronde cutaways en een massief esdoorn centerblock voor uitstekende sustain en feedbackbestendigheid. De authentieke, uit één stuk vervaardigde mahoniehouten hals heeft een dun SlimTaper C-profiel uit de jaren 60 en is afgedekt met een toets van palissanderhout met 22 medium jumbo frets en parelmoeren small block inlays. De toets heeft afgeronde randen voor een comfortabel, ingespeeld gevoel dat uitnodigt tot urenlang spelen. Zelfs de positiemarkeringen aan de zijkant hebben dezelfde grootte als op de vintage ES335-modellen uit 1962 en zijn op historisch correcte locaties geplaatst. De Gibson-stijl "open boek" kop is voorzien van het Epiphone-logo en de Gibson Crown ingelegd met verouderd parelmoer en is uitgerust met soepel draaiende Epiphone Deluxe stemmechanieken met Double Ring Keystone-knoppen en een Graph Tech topkam. 

Een ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic brug en een Gibson Historic Reissue aluminium Stop Bar staartstuk verankeren de snaren aan het andere uiteinde direct in het massief esdoornhouten centerblock en dragen verder bij aan de uitstekende sustain van de 1962 ES335. Voor de elektronica zijn twee in de VS gemaakte Gibson Custombucker humbucker pickups met de hand bedraad op CTS potentiometers en Black Beauty papier-in-olie condensatoren. Deze leveren de authentieke klankveelzijdigheid van de ES335, waardoor de ES335 Reissue uit 1962 een uitstekende keuze is voor rock, blues, jazz, country en meer. De Vintage Burst afwerking heeft een vintage glans die hem een coole vintage uitstraling geeft. 

Een zwarte koffer in vintage stijl met een luxe Goldenrod interieur en door Gibson Custom geïnspireerde graphics aan de buitenkant is ook inbegrepen om deze prachtige ES335 Reissue uit 1962 veilig te houden tijdens opslag en transport.

Now, Epiphone, in cooperation with Gibson Custom, is proud to introduce the 1962 ES-335 Reissue, a guitar that was very much inspired by Gibson Custom’s ES-335 offerings but purposefully based on a model year that Gibson Custom does not currently reissue – 1962, a year when popular features like rounded cutaways, small block inlays, and a fast-playing, slim neck profile were all present on the Gibson ES-335. 

The Epiphone 1962 ES-335 Reissue has a semi-hollow 5-ply layered maple/poplar body with rounded cutaways and a solid maple centerblock for outstanding sustain and feedback resistance. The genuine one-piece mahogany neck has a thin 1960s SlimTaper C profile and is capped with a rosewood fretboard that is outfitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl small block inlays. The fretboard features rounded edges to give it a comfortable, played-in feel that invites you to explore it for hours at a time. Even the side dot position markers are the same size as on vintage 1962 ES-335 models and are placed in historically accurate locations. The Gibson-style “open book” headstock features the Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown inlaid in aged mother-of-pearl and is fitted with smooth-turning Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines with Double Ring Keystone-style buttons and a Graph Tech nut. 

An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Gibson historic reissue aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece anchor the strings at the other end directly into the solid maple centerblock and further contribute to the 1962 ES-335’s excellent sustain. For electronics, a pair of USA-made Gibson Custombucker humbucker pickups are hand-wired to CTS potentiometers and Black Beauty paper-in-oil capacitors and deliver authentic ES-335 tonal versatility, making the 1962 ES-335 Reissue a great choice for rock, blues, jazz, country, and more. The Sixties Cherry and Vintage Burst finishes have a vintage gloss that gives them a cool vintage vibe. 

A vintage-style Black hardshell case with a plush Goldenrod interior and Inspired by Gibson Custom exterior graphics is also included to help keep this beautiful 1962 ES-335 Reissue safe during storage and travel. 

Epiphone präsentiert nun in Zusammenarbeit mit Gibson Custom die 1962 ES-335 Reissue. Diese Gitarre ist stark von Gibson Customs ES-335-Modellen inspiriert, basiert aber bewusst auf einem Modelljahr, das Gibson Custom derzeit nicht neu auflegt – 1962, ein Jahr, in dem beliebte Features wie abgerundete Cutaways, kleine Block-Inlays und ein schlankes, schnell spielbares Halsprofil die Gibson ES-335 prägten.


Die Epiphone 1962 ES-335 Reissue verfügt über einen halbhohlen, fünflagigen Korpus aus Ahorn/Pappel mit abgerundeten Cutaways und einem massiven Ahorn-Centerblock für herausragendes Sustain und hohe Rückkopplungsfestigkeit. Der einteilige Mahagonihals hat ein schlankes SlimTaper C-Profil aus den 1960er-Jahren und ist mit einem Palisandergriffbrett mit 22 Medium-Jumbo-Bünden und kleinen Perlmutt-Blockeinlagen versehen. Die abgerundeten Kanten des Griffbretts sorgen für ein angenehmes, eingespieltes Spielgefühl, das zum stundenlangen Spielen einlädt. Sogar die seitlichen Punktmarkierungen haben die gleiche Größe wie bei den Vintage-ES-335-Modellen von 1962 und sind an historisch korrekten Stellen platziert. Die Kopfplatte im Gibson-Stil mit „Open Book“-Design trägt das Epiphone-Logo und die Gibson-Krone in gealtertem Perlmutt und ist mit leichtgängigen Epiphone Deluxe-Stimmmechaniken mit Double Ring Keystone-Knöpfen und einem Graph Tech-Sattel ausgestattet.


Ein ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic-Steg und ein Gibson Historic Reissue Aluminium Stop Bar Saitenhalter verankern die Saiten am anderen Ende direkt im massiven Ahorn-Centerblock und tragen so zum exzellenten Sustain der 1962 ES-335 bei. Für die Elektronik sorgen zwei in den USA gefertigte Gibson Custombucker Humbucker-Tonabnehmer, handverdrahtet mit CTS-Potentiometern und Black Beauty Öl-Papierkondensatoren. Sie bieten die authentische Klangvielfalt der ES-335 und machen die 1962 ES-335 Reissue zu einer hervorragenden Wahl für Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country und mehr. Die Lackierungen Sixties Cherry und Vintage Burst verleihen ihnen durch ihren Vintage-Glanz einen coolen Vintage-Vibe.


Ein schwarzer Hartschalenkoffer im Vintage-Stil mit luxuriöser Goldenrod-Innenausstattung und von Gibson Custom inspirierten Grafiken außen ist ebenfalls im Lieferumfang enthalten, um diese wunderschöne 1962 ES-335 Reissue bei Lagerung und Transport sicher aufzubewahren.
