Evelyn is een stereomicrofoon die bestaat uit twee nauw op elkaar afgestemde capsules met groot diafragma die zijn gemonteerd in afzonderlijk draaiende hoofdmanden op de juiste afstand voor de ORTF-stereo-opnametechniek.
