Gemaakt in samenwerking met de Gibson Custom Shop, is de Limited Edition 1958 Explorer van Epiphone
een indrukwekkende reproductie van een van de beroemdste en meest waardevolle vintage gitaren ooit gemaakt. De gitaar brengt authentieke Explorer-details uit 1958 binnen handbereik van alle gitaristen, tegen een baanbrekende prijs.
Net als de uiterst zeldzame originele Gibson-modellen uit 1958, heeft hij een Korina-body en een Korina-hals met een lange halsverbinding en een 1958 Explorer-halsprofiel. De gitaar is ook uitgerust met een Indian laurel toets en goudkleurige hardware.
De elektronica is ook van topklasse, met Gibson Burstbucker 2- en Burstbucker 3-pickups die zijn aangesloten op individuele volumeregelaars en een mastertoonregeling met CTS-potmeters en een Mallory-condensator, samen met een Switchcraft 3-weg pickup keuzeschakelaar en 1/4†output jack.
De gitaar is voorzien van een Epiphone x Gibson Custom-logo op de achterkant van de kop, en de gitaar wordt geleverd in een koffer.
