Jackson Audio zag in 2017 het levenslicht in Australië, en werd opgericht door Brad Jackson, Nigel Hendroff en Juan Kyle. Tezamen beschikken deze drie heren over meer dan 40 jaar ervaring op het gebied van productdesign.
Met de Broken Arrow V2 heeft Jackson Audio een uiterst veelzijdig overdrivepedaal op de markt weten te brengen. Het is een soft clipping circuit dat vergelijkbaar is met de vermaarde TS808. Door middel van de voetschakelaar zijn er vier verschillende diodes te selecteren, waardoor de overdrive werkt als bij een klassieke Tubescreamer, met symmetrische of juist ásymmetrisch clipping, of als bij een vintage Marshall-versterker.
Het pedaal beschikt ook over een Boost-functie die volledig onafhankelijk van de Overdrive werkt. Deze boostfunctie heeft vier verschillende standen, waarbij er een keuze gemaakt kan worden tussen een heldere boost, mid boost, aangepaste boost en full range boost.Â
Daarnaast heeft het pedaal een functie om de Gain in stappen van 25% op te laten lopen zodat er met een druk op beide voetschakelaars een variatie aan klanken beschikbaar is. Tenslotte is het pedaal ook voorzien van een MIDI-functie.
