In 1958 introduceerde Gibson de Les Paul Standard met als vernieuwing: een esdoornblad 2-delig, gespiegeld tot een bookmatch, rode anilinekleurige achterkant en zijkanten en een prachtige transparante Cherry Sunburst-afwerking. De blootstelling aan zonlicht en kleine variaties, maken ieder exemplaar van de Les Paul Standard uniek.
Deze '59 Les Paul Reissue heeft een mahonie body, 2-delig gevlamd esdoorn bovenblad en een mahonie hals, gebouwd volgens de originele vintage specificaties (VOS). Het authentieke '59 medium 'C' halsprofiel, het Indisch palissander fretboard met de Cellulose Nitraat Trapezium-inleg, de nylon topkam, de Custombucker Alnico III elementen zijn slechts een handvol van deze typische en onnavolgbare specificaties.
De klank van deze LP is als vanouds: diep laag, vintage warm, met het karakteristieke snijdend hoog in het brugelement.

In 1958 Gibson introduced the Les Paul Standard with the following innovations: a maple top 2-piece, bookmatched, red aniline-colored back and sides and a beautiful transparent Cherry Sunburst finish. The exposure to sunlight and small variations make each Les Paul Standard unique.
This '59 Les Paul Reissue has a mahogany body, 2-piece flamed maple top and a mahogany neck, built to original vintage specifications (VOS). The authentic '59 medium 'C' neck profile, Indian rosewood fretboard with Cellulose Nitrate Trapezium inlay, nylon nut, Custombucker Alnico III pickups are just a handful of these typical and inimitable specifications.
The sound of this Les Paul is as you hope it would be: deep low, vintage warm, with the characteristic cutting high in the bridge pickup.
This guitar travels in a hardshell case with certificate of authenticity.
