Ontworpen in samenwerking met Tommy Emmanuel, zijn de TE-serie gitaren een uitstekend eerbetoon aan Tommy's muzikaliteit en Maton's superieure vakmanschap. Gebouwd volgens Tommy's specificaties, biedt de TE-serie de enorme klank en uitvoering die je zou verwachten van een gitaar die deze naam draagt.
Tommy zoekt een gitaar met een uitstekende klank, in staat tot de meest delicate expressie en de meest woeste attack. De hals moet recht blijven, ongeacht de ontberingen van internationale reizen en de gitaar moet op zijn hoogtepunt presteren, van Rome tot Nashville, tot Sydney!
De Tommy Emmanuel-modellen hebben een parelmoer blokinleg op de 12e fret, gegraveerd met "C.G.P.". Deze afkorting staat voor "Certified Guitar Player", een titel die Tommy door Chet Atkins heeft gekregen en die door slechts drie andere gitaristen ter wereld wordt gehouden: John Knowles, Jerry Reed en Steve Warriner.
De gitaar wordt geleverd in een koffer met echtheidscertificaat.
