De M-EQ Driver is een mid booster & drive pedaal, gebaseerd op een vintage Pultec studio EQ. Dit unieke pedaal biedt een scala aan mid-focused tonen, van een subtiele mid-boost tot dikke, resonerende overdrive en is voorzien van de Adaptive Circuitry die onlangs is geïntroduceerd op Origin's Halcyon Green Overdrive.
De M-EQ Driver is een pedaal met een geheel eigen karakter en biedt een nieuwe 'smaak' van mid boost en drive. De passieve Pultec EQ's uit de jaren 50 zijn nog steeds gewild en zijn te horen op duizenden hitplaten dankzij hun zeer muzikale, veelzijdige EQ-curven. In plaats van een exacte replica, hebben ze ervoor gekozen om dit klassieke stuk studioapparatuur opnieuw uit te vinden als een gitaargericht, compact pedaal, met een harmonisch rijk, met een transformator uitgerust circuit dat de sonische voetafdruk van het origineel nabootst.
Een keuze uit drie mid-range frequenties zorgt ervoor dat je precies het juiste deel van je gitaarsignaal kunt versterken en, wanneer je hem opvoert, een scala aan saturation kunt opwekken, van een klassieke 'mid-hump' overdrive tot felle 'cocked wah'-distortion. Dankzij de Adaptive Circuitry wordt de high-end roll-off van de Cut-controle verminderd. Dit zorgt voor een soepele overgang van warme overdrive naar heldere, zuivere tonen als reactie op veranderingen in de speeldynamiek of de volumeknop van de gitaar.

Rather than an exact replica, they have chosen to reimagine this classic piece of studio gear as a guitar-oriented, compact pedal, with a harmonically rich, transformer-equipped circuit recreating the sonic footprint of the original.
A choice of three mid-range frequencies ensures that you can boost just the right part of your guitar signal and, when pushed harder, can elicit a range of saturation from a classic “mid-hump” overdrive to fierce “cocked wah” distortion.
