Deze handgebouwde RebelRelic 69 T Series Black Special is een ware vintage droom van Nederlandse makelij. De semi-hollow Thinline body van lichtgewicht American Red Alder zorgt niet alleen voor een lager gewicht, maar ook voor extra resonantie en een luchtiger karakter in het geluid. De Black Aged finish en 3-ply pearloid slagplaat geven deze T-style gitaar een sobere, maar stijlvolle uitstraling met karakter.
De hals is gemaakt van esdoorn en heeft een comfortabel C-profiel met een 7.25” Indian Rosewood toets, wat direct een vertrouwd gevoel geeft. Dankzij de matching headstock, dot-inlays en de satijnen afwerking ligt hij heerlijk in de hand. Met een nutbreedte van 41.6 mm en een bespeelbare halsdikte van 22.2 mm bij de eerste fret tot 25.1 mm bij de twaalfde, speelt deze gitaar net zo fijn als hij eruitziet.
Qua sound levert deze RebelRelic het volledige plaatje: de RV-Tron neck pickup zorgt voor sprankelende, warme klanken met een vleugje hollowbody-karakter, terwijl de T64 single coil in de brug positie staat voor de klassieke twang en bite die je van een Tele-style mag verwachten.
