PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo Black Gold

PRS SE Hollowbody II Piezo is een gitaar die het gebalanceerde, heldere, resonante geluid van een hollowbody combineerd met de 'umpf' en stabiliteit van een solidbody.

Ze is gemaakt van mahonie zijkanten met een gevlamd esdoorn fineer laag op de voor en achterkant voor een karakteristieke uitstraling. Met hetzelfde gevlamde esdoorn in de bindings van zowel de body, hals en kop heeft ze een bijzonder chique uitstraling. Deze kleur en uitstraling komt weer terug in de complementerende Nickel 58/15 "S" Piezo pickups, waar een groots geluid uit komt in deze hollowbody! 

Het unieke aan deze gitaar is de veelzijdigheid. Ze heeft namelijk verschillende jack outputs. De MAG voor de 'magnetic' output en de Mix/Piezo output waarin je de 58/15 "S" kan mixen met de akoestische LR Baggs/PRS Piezo. Wanneer de MAG is ingeplugd wordt de piezo batterij overgeslagen, daardoor kan ze ook gewoon bespeeld worden wanneer de batterij leeg is.  Ook is de mogelijkheid om de magnetische output door een amp te halen en de piezo door een acoustic amp of een DI, 'double-trouble' om maar zo te zeggen. 

Volgens PRS zelf is dit de meest veelzijdige SE in de hele tweeëntwintig jaar lange geschiedenis van de series.

She is made from mahogany sides with a flamed maple veneer layer on the front and back for a distinctive look. With the same flamed maple in the bindings of the body, neck and head, she has a particularly chic look. This color and appearance is reflected in the complementary Nickel 58/15 "S" Piezo pickups, which will provide a big sound in this hollowbody!

The unique thing about this guitar is its versatility. She has different jack outputs. The MAG for the 'magnetic' output and the Mix / Piezo output in which you can mix the 58/15 "S" with the acoustic LR Baggs/PRS Piezo. When the MAG is plugged in the piezo battery is bypassed, so it can also be played when the battery has run out. Also, there is the ability to run the magnetic output through an amp and the piezo through an acoustic amp or a DI, for a nice 'double-trouble' effect.
