Dit Walrus Audio 385 Overdrive-pedaal is gebaseerd op een vintage Bell en Howell 385 Filmosound-projector, die is omgebouwd tot gitaarversterker, wat een iconische ‘versterker’ opleverde. Deze omgebouwde 385's stonden bekend om hun warme, gruizige en gecomprimeerd geluid. Dit ‘amp in a stompbox’ pedaal is ontworpen om dezelfde eenvoudige maar effectieve bedieningselementen te hebben als de ‘versterker’ waarop het is gebaseerd. Met de regeling van lage en hoge tonen kunt u een groot scala aan klank bereiken, met de mogelijkheid om lage en hoge tonen te versterken en te verminderen, waardoor een groot aantal middenfrequentie-opties kan worden ontdekt. Het pedaal draait op 18 volt, wat helpt om dat vintage geluid en het iconische dynamische versterkergevoel te benaderen in een pedaal!
