Die Custom 24 ist die ultimative PRS-Gitarre. Diese Kultgitarre war das erste Modell, das Paul Reed Smith 1985 zur ersten Winter-NAMM von PRS mitbrachte, und ist seitdem ein fester Bestandteil des PRS-Sortiments.

De rotary-schakelaar is vervangen door een conventionele drieweg-schakelaar, en de volume- en toonpotmeter hebben beide een push/pull-functie die de humbuckers splitten voor nog meer tonale variatie.
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer.
