Dana Bourgeois bouwt al bijna 40 jaar gitaren. Bij een custom model krijg je het allerbeste hout, mooiste styling en de hoogste kwaliteit! Deze dreadnought is dan ook een instrument van uitzonderlijke klasse.
Zo is de klankkast van deze gitaar vervaardigd van prachtig gevlamd esdoorn, wat een schitterend geheel vormt met het Adirondack bovenblad met sunburst finish die door Dana zelf aangebracht is. Beide houtsoorten beschikken daarbij ook nog over de Aged Tone-technologie, waarbij het hout zodanig is behandeld dat het klinkt als bij een ingespeelde gitaar.
De klankkast is verder omlijst met de 'DB Signature' herringbone purfling en ziricote binding die rondom het bovenblad ook een 'bevel' heeft voor optimaal speelcomfort. De gitaar is verder voorzien van een hals met 25.5 inch mensuur die uitkomt bij de luxueuze kop met ziricote fineer en gouden stemmechanieken met 'snakewood' knoppen.
Deze Bourgeois Slope D beschikt over een groot klankgat, en dit geeft de gitaar een geheel eigen karakter. Doordat er meer lucht in en uit de gitaar gaat worden alle tonale eigenschappen uitvergroot; de gitaar beschikt over meer lage tonen, helderheid, respons en volume dan een reguliere dreadnought.

With a custom model, you get the very best tonewoods, finest styling and highest quality! This dreadnought is therefore an instrument of exceptional class.
For instance, the body of this guitar is made of beautiful flamed maple, which forms a beautiful dreamteam with the Adirondack top with sunburst finish. Both types of wood have the Aged Tone technology, in which the wood has been treated in such a way that it sounds like a played-in guitar.
The body is further framed with the 'DB Signature' herringbone purfling and ziricote binding that also has a bevel around the top for optimal playing comfort. The guitar is further fitted with a 25.5-inch scale length that meets the luxurious headstock with ziricote veneer and gold tuners with 'snakewood' buttons.
This Bourgeois Slope D features a large sound hole, and this gives the guitar a character all its own. As more air goes in and out of the guitar, all tonal characteristics are magnified; the guitar boasts more bass, clarity, response and volume than a regular dreadnought.
Comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport.

So ist der Korpus dieser Gitarre aus schönem geflammten Ahorn gefertigt, der mit der Adirondack-Decke mit Sunburst-Finish ein schönes Dreamteam bildet. Beide Holzarten verfügen über die Aged Tone Technologie, bei der das Holz so behandelt wurde, dass es wie eine eingespielte Gitarre klingt.
Der Korpus ist mit der "DB Signature"-Fischgräteneinlage und einem Ziricote-Binding eingefasst, das für optimalen Spielkomfort eine Abschrägung um die Decke aufweist. Die Gitarre ist außerdem mit einer 25,5-Zoll-Mensur ausgestattet, die auf die luxuriöse Kopfplatte mit Ziricote-Furnier und goldenen Mechaniken mit "Snakewood"-Knöpfen trifft.
Diese Bourgeois Slope D verfügt über ein großes Schallloch, das der Gitarre einen ganz eigenen Charakter verleiht. Da mehr Luft in die Gitarre ein- und ausströmt, werden alle klanglichen Eigenschaften vergrößert; die Gitarre bietet mehr Bass, Klarheit, Ansprache und Volumen als eine normale Dreadnought.
