Santa Cruz F12-27 12 String 1981
Hoewel de Santa Cruz Guitar Company nog 46 jaren jong is, vallen de gitaren uit de eerste jaren ondertussen wel onder de noemer 'vintage'. Dit is misschien wel de vroegste Santa Cruz gitaar die we hier hebben gezien.
De F12-27 is een twaalfsnarige gitaar met een Grand Auditorium body die bestaat uit een koa achterkant en zijkanten met een sparren bovenblad. De snaren vinden hun weg door de ebbenhouten brug, over de toets van hetzelfde materiaal, tot ze hun eindbestemming vinden bij de Schaller stemmechanieken.
De cutaway brengt de hele toets binnen bereik en zorgt voor optimaal speelgenot. Je weg vinden over de brede toets met een kambreedte van bijna 2 inch wordt dan ook beloont met een fantastische, volle klank en betoverde, glinsterende tonen.
Hij verkeert in zeer goede conditie en heeft al een neck reset gehad. De 'center seam' op het bovenblad is ook gerepareerd. Verder ziet hij er nog erg schoon uit en zijn de gebruikelijke speelsporen te vinden, met name op het bovenblad. Inclusief een koffer met TFOA paspoort.

Although the Santa Cruz Guitar Company is still 46 years young, the guitars from the early years now fall under the heading of 'vintage'. This F12 is possibly the earliest Santa Cruz guitar we've seen here.
The F12-27 is a twelve-string guitar with a Grand Auditorium body consisting of koa back and sides with a spruce top. The strings make their way through the ebony bridge, over the fingerboard of the same wood, until they find their final destination at the Schaller tuning machines.
The cutaway brings the entire fingerboard within reach and ensures optimal playability. Finding your way across the wide fingerboard with a nut width of almost 2 inches is therefore rewarded with a fantastic, full sound and those enchanted, shimmering tones.
It is in very good condition and has already had a neck reset. The 'center seam' on the top has also been repaired. Furthermore, it still looks very clean and the usual signs of play can be found, especially on the top. Includes a hardshell case with TFOA passport.

Obwohl die Santa Cruz Guitar Company noch 46 Jahre jung ist, fallen die Gitarren aus den Anfangsjahren mittlerweile unter die Rubrik „Vintage“. Diese F12 ist möglicherweise die früheste Santa Cruz-Gitarre, die wir hier gesehen haben.
Die F12-27 ist eine zwölfsaitige Gitarre mit einem Grand-Auditorium-Korpus bestehend aus Boden und Zargen aus Koa und einer Fichtendecke. Die Saiten wandern durch den Ebenholzsteg über das Griffbrett aus dem gleichen Holz, bis sie an den Schaller-Mechaniken ihr endgültiges Ziel finden.
Der Cutaway bringt das gesamte Griffbrett in Reichweite und sorgt für optimale Spielbarkeit. Wer sich auf dem breiten Griffbrett mit einer Sattelbreite von fast 2 Zoll zurechtfindet, wird daher mit einem fantastischen, vollen Klang und bezaubernd schimmernden Tönen belohnt.
Es ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und hat bereits einen Hals-Reset erhalten. Auch die „Mittelnaht“ oben wurde repariert. Darüber hinaus sieht es immer noch sehr sauber aus und es sind vor allem auf der Oberseite die üblichen Spielspuren zu finden. Inklusive Hartschalenkoffer mit TFOA-Pass.
