Gun Guitars are hand-built in Kloosterzande, Zeeland, by Eugen Wulff, and with their cool design are a modern interpretation of the guitar models from the 50s and 60s. The fact that these models are still very popular today is proven by Gun Guitars, because many Dutch musicians stand on stage with such a guitar!

De Neptune Bass is een shortscale basgitaar die het uiterlijk van een Harmony combineert met de sound van een Violin Bass. Deze custom gebouwde lichtgewicht bas lijkt rechtstreeks uit lang vervlogen tijden in onze winkel te zijn beland, want de vintage uitstraling van instrumenten uit de jaren '50 en '60 is bijzonder overtuigend te noemen!
En ook de sound is precies zo als je van oude opnames gewend bent dankzij de hollow body-constructie met twee single coils en flatwound snaren; de dikke en percussieve sound met korte sustain is bij uitstek geschikt voor ritmepartijen en melodielijnen in de stijl van de Beatles en verwante muziekstijlen. De bas ziet er daarbij ook nog eens bijzonder fraai uit met zijn licht gerelicte Olive Drab finish en witte hals; als je hiermee geen bekijks trekt op het podium weten wij het ook niet meer!
De bas wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een gigbag.
The Neptune Bass is a short-scale bass guitar that combines the looks of a Harmony with the sound of a Violin Bass. This custom-built lightweight bass seems to have landed in our shop straight from times long gone, because the vintage look of instruments from the 50s and 60s is particularly convincing!
And the sound is exactly as you are used to from old recordings thanks to the hollow body construction with two single coils and flatwound strings; the thick and percussive sound with short sustain is ideally suited for rhythm parts and melody lines in the style of the Beatles and related music styles. The bass also looks particularly beautiful with its slightly reliced Olive Drab finish and white neck; if this doesn't attract attention on stage, we don't know what will!
The bass comes with a TFOA passport in a gig bag.
Der Neptune Bass ist eine Shortscale-Bassgitarre, die die Optik eines Harmony mit dem Klang eines Violinbasses verbindet. Dieser individuell gefertigte Leichtgewichtsbass scheint direkt aus längst vergangenen Zeiten bei uns im Shop gelandet zu sein, denn der Vintage-Look von Instrumenten aus den 50er und 60er Jahren überzeugt besonders!
Und der Sound ist dank der Hollowbody-Konstruktion mit zwei Single Coils und Flatwound-Saiten genauso, wie man ihn von alten Aufnahmen gewohnt ist; der satte, perkussive Sound mit kurzem Sustain eignet sich ideal für Rhythmusparts und Melodielinien im Stil der Beatles und verwandter Musikrichtungen. Der Bass sieht mit seinem leicht gealterten Olive Drab-Finish und dem weißen Hals zudem besonders schön aus; wenn das auf der Bühne nicht für Aufsehen sorgt, wissen wir auch nicht!
Der Bass wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einer Gigbag geliefert.
