De bouzouki is een traditioneel snaarinstrument dat oorspronkelijk uit Griekenland komt, maar inmiddels een vaste plek heeft in de Ierse en Keltische muziek. Deze McNally SZ32 is een moderne variant met een langere mensuur en vanuit de fabriek een stemming van een mandoline, waardoor hij bijzonder toegankelijk is voor muzikanten die willen uitbreiden naar een ander akoestisch instrument met een eigen karakter. Het is een bijzonder instrument dat je niet vaak tegenkomt, zeker niet van deze kwaliteit!
Deze McNally SZ32 is volledig met de hand gebouwd in Ierland door luthier Ciarán McNally. Hij gebruikte hiervoor eersteklas materialen, waaronder massief Indian Rosewood voor de achter- en zijkanten. Dit hout staat bekend om zijn warme basrespons en duidelijke klankdefinitie. Het bovenblad is gemaakt van massief Sitka spruce, wat zorgt voor een goede projectie, helderheid en een gebalanceerde toon. In combinatie leveren deze houtsoorten een klank op die helder en ruimtelijk is, met genoeg warmte in de lage tonen en sprankelende hoge tonen – ideaal voor zowel akkoorden als melodisch spel!
De body is afgewerkt met figured maple binding en een verfijnde rosewood/maple/ebony purfling. De toets van ebben bevat een fraaie Celtic Knot inlay op het 12e fret, en de kop is voorzien van een ebbenhouten overlay. De Schaller Mini stemmechanieken met ebbenhouten knoppen zorgen voor een precieze en stabiele stemming. De McNally SZ32 wordt geleverd in een Hiscox hardshell case en komt met certificaat van echtheid, een tortoise pickguard en het TFOA passport.

This McNally SZ32 is a modern variant with a longer scale and a factory-tuned mandolin, making it particularly accessible for musicians who want to branch out to another acoustic instrument with its own character. This McNally SZ32 is completely hand-built in Ireland by luthier Ciarán McNally. He used premium materials, including solid Indian Rosewood for the back and sides. The ebony fingerboard features a beautiful Celtic Knot inlay at the 12th fret, and the headstock features an ebony overlay. The McNally SZ32 comes in a Hiscox hardshell case and includes a certificate of authenticity, a tortoise pickguard and the TFOA passport.
Die Bouzouki ist ein traditionelles Saiteninstrument, das ursprünglich aus Griechenland stammt, mittlerweile aber einen festen Platz in der irischen und keltischen Musik gefunden hat. Dieses McNally SZ32 ist eine moderne Version mit längerer Mensur und werkseitig gestimmter Mandolinenstimmung, wodurch es besonders für Musiker geeignet ist, die sich auf ein anderes akustisches Instrument mit eigenem Charakter einlassen möchten. Es ist ein besonderes Instrument, das man nicht oft findet, vor allem nicht in dieser Qualität!
Dieser McNally SZ32 wurde vom Gitarrenbauer Ciarán McNally in Irland komplett von Hand gebaut. Er verwendete hierfür hochwertige Materialien, darunter massives indisches Palisanderholz für Boden und Zargen. Dieses Holz ist für seine warme Basswiedergabe und klare Klangdefinition bekannt. Die Decke besteht aus massiver Sitka-Fichte, die für gute Projektion, Klarheit und einen ausgewogenen Ton sorgt. In Kombination erzeugen diese Hölzer einen klaren und weiten Klang mit viel Wärme im unteren Bereich und funkelnden Höhen – ideal sowohl für Akkorde als auch für melodisches Spiel!
Der Korpus ist mit einer Einfassung aus gemustertem Ahorn und einer edlen Einlage aus Palisander/Ahorn/Ebenholz versehen. Das Griffbrett aus Ebenholz weist am 12. Bund eine wunderschöne Einlage mit keltischem Knoten auf und die Kopfplatte ist mit einer Ebenholzauflage versehen. Die Schaller Mini-Stimmmechaniken mit Ebenholzknöpfen sorgen für eine präzise und stabile Stimmung. Das McNally SZ32 wird in einem Hiscox-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert und enthält ein Echtheitszertifikat, ein Schildpatt-Schlagbrett und den TFOA-Pass.
