Not to long ago National introduced their new National Reso-Phonic “RAW” series! These bare-bones resonators are hand waxed with minimal finish and available in both steel and brass.

Raw Series instrumenten hebben een minimale afwerking met wax, waardoor ze natuurlijk glad aanvoelen en na verloop van tijd zullen patineren. Ze worden vakkundig met de hand gemaakt in National's werkplaats in Californië volgens de hoge kwaliteitsnormen waarop hun reputatie is gebouwd.
De stalen body is geplateerd en krijgt dan een verouderde patina, wat resulteert in een unieke vintage look. Elk instrument wordt individueel met de hand afgewerkt, dus geen twee instrumenten lijken precies op elkaar, waardoor elk instrument een uniek kunstwerk wordt. De esdoorn hals is voorzien van een ebbenhouten toets en een jaren '30 pinhead met stemmechanieken in vintage stijl.

The maple neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard and a 1930s pinhead with vintage-style tuners.
