In the coming weeks, one of the most remarkable guitars in the Netherlands will be on display at The Fellowship of Acoustics in Dedemsvaart: the horse guitar created by artist and musician Ron Leinders. This extraordinary instrument is crafted from the skeleton of a horse that was tragically killed by a lightning strike.
With this unique creation, Ron aims to raise awareness for Stichting No Guts No Glory, a foundation that fulfills musical wishes for people battling cancer. His mission: to have as many renowned guitarists as possible play the horse guitar, before auctioning it off for charity. All proceeds from the auction will go to the foundation.
We fully support this special initiative. The guitar will be given a prominent place in our store, and we are inviting well-known guitarists to come and play it live. Guitar enthusiasts are warmly welcome to visit and admire this one-of-a-kind instrument up close and contribute to a musical tribute with a meaningful cause.
More information about this project can be found on Ron Leinders' Facebook page.
