Dana Bourgeois bouwt al sinds het eind van de jaren '70 gitaren. Hij staat wereldwijd bekend om zijn superieure vakmanschap en als een van de belangrijkste autoriteiten op het gebied van de stemgeving, selectie en het gebruik van fijne akoestische klankhoutsoorten. De Country Boy HS is onderdeel van de Heirloom Series; Bourgeois' eerbetoon aan de iconische vintage gitaar die hun carrière in lutherie inspireerde.
Deze Bourgeois Country Boy Dreadnought is gekleed in klassieke details zoals ebbenhouten toets en brug, rozet in jaren 30-stijl, tortoise binding en nikkel Waverly-stemmers. Naast het selecteren van alleen de beste bijpassende mahoniehouten achterkanten en zijkanten, is de Country Boy Dreadnought uitgerust met een Adirondack sparrenhouten bovenblad.
Ricky Skaggs zelf bedacht de naam voor deze gitaar, die perfect past bij dit instrument met zijn grote, warme, heldere stem. De zachte V-vormige mahoniehouten hals zorgt voor een comfortabele bespeelbaarheid. Daarom is de Country Boy de ideale gitaar voor strumming en vocale begeleiding.
Deze Bourgeois D Country Boy ziet er na 10 jaar nog bijzonder goed uit, en de gitaar verkeert dan ook in excellente conditie. Achter de brug bevindt zich een kleine ding in het bovenblad, met daarbij ook lichte speelsporen op de slagplaat. Verder zijn op de achterzijde van de hals speelsporen te vinden, maar de gitaar is verder zeer schoon. Wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van TKL.

This Bourgeois Country Boy Dreadnought is dressed in classic details such as an ebony fingerboard and bridge, a 1930s-style rosette, tortoiseshell binding, and nickel Waverly tuners. In addition to selecting only the finest matching mahogany back and sides, the Country Boy Dreadnought is equipped with an Adirondack spruce top.
Ricky Skaggs himself coined the name for this guitar, which perfectly suits this instrument with its big, warm, and clear voice. The soft V-shaped mahogany neck provides comfortable playability. That's why the Country Boy is the ideal guitar for strumming and vocal accompaniment.
This Bourgeois D Country Boy still looks exceptionally good after 10 years and is in excellent condition. There's a small ding in the top behind the bridge, along with some light playwear on the pickguard. There are also playwear marks on the back of the neck, but the guitar is otherwise very clean. It comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a TKL case.

Diese Bourgeois D Country Boy sieht auch nach 10 Jahren noch außergewöhnlich gut aus und befindet sich in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Sie weist eine kleine Delle in der Decke hinter dem Steg sowie leichte Spielspuren am Schlagbrett auf. Auch auf der Rückseite des Halses sind Spielspuren zu sehen, ansonsten ist die Gitarre aber sehr sauber. Sie wird mit einem TFOA-Pass und einem TKL-Koffer geliefert.
