De Modern Antique combineert het beste van moderne en vintage-geïnspireerde gitaren. De tweedelige Alder body is afgewerkt in licht verouderd Ocean Turquoise metallic, met fraaie craquelé over het hele oppervlak voor een subtiel relic-effect. De elektronica bestaat uit een Thornbucker Plus humbucker in de halspositie, een V63 single coil in het midden en een Thornbucker Plus humbucker bij de brug. De elementen worden bediend via een volumeknop, een toonknop met push-pull coil-split en een 5-weg schakelaar.
Tussen de volumeknop en de schakelaar zit een kleine drukknop die fungeert als blower switch. Hiermee wordt de brugpickup direct naar de output gestuurd met een gesimuleerde volumeknop en toonregeling, voor directe, ongefilterde output. Wordt geleverd in een koffer met TFOA paspoort.

The pickup configuration includes a Thornbucker Plus humbucker at the neck, a V63 single coil in the middle, and another Thornbucker Plus at the bridge. These pickups are controlled by a volume knob, a tone knob with push-pull coil-split function, and a 5-way selector switch.
A small push button between the volume control and selector switch acts as a blower switch, sending the bridge pickup directly to the output jack with a simulated volume and tone load for instant clarity and bite. This Suhr comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA Passport.
