In mei 2009 rolden de eerste Koko boost pedalen van de band. Het unieke ontwerp van dit pedaal omvatte zowel een transparante clean boost als een instelbare midrange boost waarmee het bereik van je buizenversterker en overdrive/distortion pedalen werd vergroot. Het duurde dan ook niet lang voordat de Koko op pedalboards overal ter wereld een vaste plek innam.
Koko Boost Reloaded is het resultaat van urenlang luisteren, testen, en aanpassen van het originele circuit. Het resultaat is een pedaal dat kleiner van formaat is, maar tegelijk meer mogelijkheden heeft. Dankzij de gepatenteerde multi-function technologi mf(x) is het nooit makkelijk geweest om tussen de twee verschillende boosts te wisselen. Daarnaast heeft Suhr de 3-standen frequentie schakelaar opnieuw ingesteld en ook 6dB meer gain toegevoegd voor meer boventonen en sustain.

Koko’s unique design incorporated both a transparent clean boost and a selectable midrange boost which extended the range of your tube amplifier and Overdrive and/or Distortion pedals. Needless to say it wasn’t long before Koko was seen on the pedalboards of touring guitarists for it’s unique capabilities.
Koko Boost Reloaded is the result of countless hours of listening, testing, and modifying the original circuit to create a pedal with a smaller footprint, while simultaneously expanding its functionality and versatility. Thanks to the proprietary Multi-Function Technology, mf(x), switching between Koko’s two boosts has never been easier. Additionally, Suhr has re-voiced the 3-position frequency switch and added +6dB more gain than the original Koko for increased harmonics and sustain.
