Na een leven lang de voorkeur te hebben gegeven aan grotere gitaren, vond Dana de ideale power-formaat-verhouding en heldere, directe klank van de L-DB als ideaal voor zijn persoonlijke behoeften. De LDB2 zit tussen een standaard 00 en 000 in, met een iets kortere 25" mensuur.
Hoewel een gold sparkle purfling op een akoestische gitaar in eerste instantie misschien verrassend klinkt, durven we te zeggen dat Bourgeois misschien wel het toppunt van elegantie en schoonheid heeft bereikt! De gold sparkle is echt een stijlvolle toevoeging aan de geweldige Argentine Grey afwerking die prachtig samengaat met de Beeswing mahonie klankkast. Twee andere onderdelen die niet onopgemerkt mogen blijven zijn de prachtige ziricote brug en toets.
Daarnaast zorgt het Aged Tone Adirondack sparren bovenblad samen met de bracing en finish voor een vintage look en klank! De Aged Tone-behandeling geeft je een ingespeelde klank en geeft de speler het voordeel van het brede dynamische bereik van Adirondack, maar met de nuance en warmte die normaal gesproken alleen door jarenlang spelen wordt verkregen.
Maar zoals we al zeiden, hij is niet alleen stijlvol... hij is ook zeer capabel. Hij biedt alles waar een fingerstyle speler van kan dromen: een perfect gebalanceerde toon die reikt van de strakke, ronde bas tot de kristalheldere hoge tonen. While a gold sparkle purfling on an acoustic guitar may sound surprising at first, we dare say that Bourgeois may have achieved the pinnacle of elegance and beauty! The gold sparkle is a truly stylish addition to the stunning Argentine Grey finish that goes beautifully with the Beeswing mahogany back and sides. Two other features that should not go unnoticed are the beautiful ziricote bridge and fingerboard.
In addition, the Aged Tone Adirondack spruce top, together with the bracing and finish, provides a vintage look and tone! The Aged Tone treatment gives you a played-in tone and gives the player the benefit of the wide dynamic range of the Adirondack, but with the nuance and warmth that normally only comes from years of playing.
But as we said, it's not just stylish... it's also very capable. It offers everything a fingerstyle player could ever dream of: a perfectly balanced tone that ranges from tight, round bass to crystal clear highs. And if you try to strum a little, its loud sound will certainly surprise you.

Das Gold-Sparkle ist eine wahrhaft stilvolle Ergänzung zum atemberaubenden Argentine Grey-Finish, das wunderbar mit dem Boden und den Zargen aus Beeswing-Mahagoni harmoniert. Zwei weitere Merkmale, die nicht unbemerkt bleiben sollten, sind der wunderschöne Steg und das Griffbrett aus Ziricote.
Darüber hinaus sorgt die Aged Tone Adirondack-Fichtendecke zusammen mit der Verstrebung und dem Finish für einen Vintage-Look und -Klang! Aber wie gesagt: Sie ist nicht nur stilvoll ... sie ist auch sehr leistungsfähig. Sie bietet alles, wovon ein Fingerstyle-Spieler nur träumen kann: einen perfekt ausgewogenen Klang, der von Von straffen, runden Bässen bis hin zu kristallklaren Höhen. Und wer ein wenig klimpert, wird von ihrem lauten Klang überrascht sein.
