Gibson ES330T Sunburst 1963
De Gibson ES330 is niet het kleinere of goedkopere broertje van de ES335, maar werd bedoeld als de vervanger van de ES225T. In tegenstelling tot de ES225 heeft hij een double cutaway hollowbody gemaakt van gelamineerd esdoorn. De mahonie hals ontmoet de body bij de 16e fret en is voorzien van een palissander toets met blok inleg. Terwijl de 330 akoestisch behoorlijk levendig klinkt, komt hij pas echt tot leven als je hem inplugt!
De officiële typenaam van deze ES330 vat de gitaar al kort samen; de toevoeging T staat voor Thinline met een enkele pickup, en onderscheidt dit model van de versies met een dubbele pickup en Natural of Cherry afwerking. De originele P90 is voorzien van een nikkelen cover zoals geïntroduceerd in 1962, en geeft de gitaar door de centrale positie een bijzondere klank. De mahonie hals heeft een topkam van ruim 42 mm, en is voorzien van de kleine blokinleg die het model vanaf 1962 sierde. De Tune-O-Matic brug met nylon zadels garandeert betrouwbare intonatie, terwijl de Kluson Deluxe stemmechanieken de stemming stabiel houden.
Deze ES330 is gebouwd in 1963, en ziet er zoals we gewend zijn van vintage Gibsons ook weer enorm cool uit! De Sunburst-finish vertoont craquelé, speelsporen en dings die jaren van speelplezier verraden, maar we willen maar al te graag benadrukken dat de gitaar er gezien zijn leeftijd gewoon bijzonder goed uitziet! De gitaar is op het gebied van hardware en elektronica grotendeels origineel, maar de gitaar heeft wel een refret gehad. Ook zijn op de bovenste hoorn en op de hiel schroefgaatjes van een gemonteerde strap button opgevuld.

The Gibson ES330 isn't the smaller or cheaper sibling of the ES335, but was intended as a replacement for the ES225T. Unlike the ES225, it features a double-cutaway hollowbody made of laminated maple. The mahogany neck meets the body at the 16th fret and features a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. While the 330 sounds quite lively acoustically, it truly comes alive when you plug it in!
The official model name of this ES330 sums it up; the "T" stands for Thinline with a single pickup, distinguishing this model from the double-pickup versions with Natural or Cherry finishes. The original P90 features a nickel cover, as introduced in 1962, and its central position gives the guitar a distinctive tone. The mahogany neck has a nut width of over 42 mm and features the small block inlays that graced the model from 1962 onward. This ES330 was built in 1963 and, as we've come to expect from vintage Gibsons, looks incredibly cool! The sunburst finish shows crackle, playwear, and dings that betray years of play, but we'd like to emphasize that the guitar looks remarkably good considering its age! The guitar's hardware and electronics are largely original, but it has been refretted. Also, screw holes for a mounted strap button have been filled in on the top horn and on the heel.
Comes with a TFOA passport in a vintage hardshell case.

Hardware und Elektronik der Gitarre sind größtenteils original, sie wurde jedoch neu bundiert. Außerdem wurden am oberen Horn und an der Ferse Schraubenlöcher für einen montierten Gurtknopf ausgefüllt.
