Waar Atkin al geruime tijd bewijst dat het merk als geen ander een gitaar kan bouwen, is het aging-proces misschien wel het meest indrukwekkende aspect van Atkin Guitars.
De passie waarmee deze instrumenten gemaakt zijn straalt er vanaf, en het is moeilijk om niet verliefd te worden op zowel de klank als het uiterlijk!
De Essential D biedt die 100% Atkin-toon; uitgekleed tot de essentie! Elke Essential D heeft een Sitka sparren bovenblad en is verstevigd met pre-war scalloped bracing, die allemaal worden 'gebakken' in Atkin's werkplaats. De mahonie achter- en zijkanten worden gecomplementeerd door een lichtgewicht mahonie hals met een ebbenhouten toets; net als enkele van de beste Pre-War gitaren. Dit is een beproefde combinatie, extreem populair bij songwriters, en een werkpaard dat nooit verveelt!
De gitaar is gebouwd in 2019, en verkeert in excellente conditie. De eerste krasjes en craquelé zijn natuurlijk al door Atkin zelf aangebracht, en hier zijn in de loop der jaren lichte speelsporen op het bovenblad en iets zwaardere speelsporen op de klankkast bijgekomen. De gitaar is echter zeer schoon, en is dankzij de LR Baggs Anthem pickup en strap button op de hiel de ideale gitaar voor op het podium!

While Atkin has long proven its guitar-building prowess, the aging process is perhaps the most impressive aspect of Atkin Guitars. The passion with which these instruments are crafted shines through, and it's hard not to fall in love with both the sound and the look!
The Essential D offers that 100% Atkin tone; stripped down to the bare essentials! Each Essential D features a Sitka spruce top braced with pre-war scalloped bracing, all of which is "baked" in Atkin's workshop. The mahogany back and sides are complemented by a lightweight mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, just like some of the finest pre-war guitars. This is a proven combination, extremely popular with songwriters, and a workhorse that never gets old!
The guitar was built in 2019 and is in excellent condition. The first scratches and crackle were, of course, already applied by Atkin himself, and over the years, light playwear has appeared on the top and slightly heavier playwear on the body. However, the guitar is very clean and, thanks to the LR Baggs Anthem pickup and strap button on the heel, it's the ideal guitar for stage!
Comes with a TFOA passport in a TKL hardshell case.

Jede Essential D verfügt über eine Sitka-Fichtendecke mit Vorkriegs-Scalloped-Bracing, die in Atkins Werkstatt vollständig „gebacken“ wird. Boden und Zargen aus Mahagoni werden durch einen leichten Mahagoni-Hals mit Ebenholz-Griffbrett ergänzt, genau wie bei einigen der besten Vorkriegsgitarren. Diese bewährte Kombination ist bei Songwritern äußerst beliebt und ein Instrument, das nie an Langlebigkeit verliert!
Die Gitarre wurde 2019 gebaut und befindet sich in exzellentem Zustand. Die ersten Kratzer und Risse stammen natürlich von Atkin selbst, und im Laufe der Jahre haben sich leichte Spielspuren auf der Decke und etwas stärkere auf dem Korpus gebildet. Die Gitarre ist jedoch in einem sehr guten Zustand und dank des LR Baggs Anthem-Tonabnehmers und des Gurtknopfs am Halsfuß ideal für die Bühne!
Sie wird mit einem TFOA-Pass und einem TKL-Koffer geliefert.
