In 2016 richtte Mattia Franchin Franchin Guitars op, een project geboren uit de mix van zijn twee grote passies, kunst en muziek. Hij heeft zelf een artistieke opleiding gevolgd, en omringde zich al snel met een team van kunstenaars van de Academy of the Fine Arts van Venetië, evenals met technische gitaarbouwers.
Alle gitaren worden in Italië gemaakt met een selectie van de best en meest resonerende houtsoorten die beschikbaar zijn. Het hele afwerkingsproces wordt uitgevoerd in hun laboratorium in Monticello Conte Otto (nabij Vicenza, Italië). Elk stuk is uniek, gebouwd met geselecteerde materialen en doorloopt een verfijnd en zorgvuldig gedetailleerd bouwproces.
Hun T-stijl model heet 'Mars' en dit specifieke exemplaar is verpakt in een Vintage White finish, die overtuigend is verouderd om de gitaar een ingespeelde en doorgewinterde look te geven. De bespeelbaarheid van de gitaar voldoet echter volledig aan de moderne standaard. En dankzij de resonerende body en de door Franchin handgemaakte single coils is het geluid van de gitaar van een even hoog niveau.
Dit Mars model is gebouwd in 2023 en verkeert nog in uitstekende conditie. Door de aged afwerking is het altijd lastig te zien waar de originele veroudering eindigt en eventuele speelsporen beginnen maar deze gitaar is nog zeer schoon. Hij wordt geleverd in een hardshell koffer met certificaat van echtheid.
In 2016, Mattia Franchin founded Franchin Guitars, a project born from the mix of his two great passions, art and music. He himself received an artistic training, and soon surrounded himself with a team of artists from the Academy of the Fine Arts of Venice, as well as technical luthiers.
All guitars are made in Italy with a selection of the best and most resonant woods available. The entire finishing process is carried out in their laboratory in Monticello Conte Otto (near Vicenza, Italy). Each piece is unique, built with selected materials and goes through a sophisticated and carefully detailed construction process.
Their T-style model is called 'Mars' and this particular one is wrapped in a Vintage White finish, which has been convincingly aged to give the guitar a played-in and seasoned look. However, the playability of the guitar fully meets modern standards. And thanks to the resonant body and single coils handmade by Franchin, the sound of the guitar is of an equally high level.
This Mars model was built in 2023 and remains in excellent condition. With its aged finish it is always difficult to see where the factory aging ends and any real playwear begins but this guitar is still very clean. It comes in a hardshell case with a certificate of authenticity.

Jedes Stück ist ein Unikat, hergestellt aus ausgewählten Materialien und durchläuft einen anspruchsvollen und sorgfältig detaillierten Bauprozess.
Ihr T-Style-Modell heißt „Mars“ und dieses Exemplar ist mit einem Vintage-White-Finish umhüllt, das überzeugend gealtert wurde, um der Gitarre ein eingespieltes und erfahrenes Aussehen zu verleihen. Die Bespielbarkeit der Gitarre entspricht jedoch voll und ganz modernen Standards. Und dank des von Franchin handgefertigten Resonanzkörpers und der Single Coils ist der Klang der Gitarre auf einem ebenso hohen Niveau.
Dieses Mars-Modell wurde 2023 gebaut und befindet sich nach wie vor in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Bei seinem gealterten Finish ist es immer schwierig zu erkennen, wo die werkseitige Alterung endet und echte Gebrauchsspuren beginnen, aber diese Gitarre ist immer noch sehr sauber. Sie wird in einem Hartschalenkoffer mit Echtheitszertifikat geliefert.
