The Collings D1A is one of many Collings guitars that makes the heart beat faster. The 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar in the world, and while Collings is certainly not the only company in the world that builds them, they bring a new clarity, depth, and warmth not usually associated with such a large and deep guitar.

Hoewel de basrespons deze dreadnought perfect maakt voor zangbegeleiding, zal een Collings dreadnought zelfs de meest toegewijde bluegrass flatpicker tevreden stellen. De Collings D1A is gebouwd met een Adirondack sparren bovenblad in plaats van Sitka sparren en is daarom een echte bluegrass machine. Adirondack biedt meer volume, dynamiek en helderheid en projecteert als een kanon. Deze vooroorlogse kenmerken geven het instrument nog meer headroom over het gehele spectrum, wat het zowel indrukwekkend om te zien als om te bespelen maakt.
Gebouwd in 2009 en in uitstekende conditie, met enkele dings en speelsporen op het bovenblad en de achterzijde. De gitaar is uitgerust met een K&K Pure Mini pickup en een strap button op de hiel, dus helemaal klaar voor het podium. Zoals we van Collings gewend zijn is ook deze D1A van buitengewone kwaliteit. Built in 2009, this Collings is in excellent condition with some dings and playwear on the top and back. Es ist keine Überraschung, dass diese Gitarren selten lange in unserem Laden bleiben, denn wenn Sie einmal eine Collings gespielt haben, werden Sie nichts anderes mehr wollen.
