Santa Cruz RS

In die geest heeft Santa Cruz Guitar Company het RS-model geïntroduceerd. Het is veel meer dan een eerbetoon aan de gitaarvirtuoos uit 1937 die optrad met deze luxe podiuminstrumenten, speciaal afgestemd op Hawaiiaanse speelstijlen. Dit prachtige retro-model is voorzien van de aanpassingen die moderne gitaristen vroegen om vintage instrumenten compatibel te maken met hedendaagse fretstijlen.

De RS is ontworpen voor een overtuigende aanwezigheid. De speciaal taps toelopende bracing en bodydiepte van SCGC geven het instrument aanzienlijke headroom om hard te spelen en toch de klankkleur te behouden. De hals is ontworpen voor maximale snaarruimte bij de topkam voor een zeer zuivere vingerzetting, en ook de rechterhand krijgt meer ruimte, zo'n 59 cm, tussen de buitenste snaren. 

De prettige bespeelbaarheid wordt versterkt door de soepelheid van de mensuur van 24.75 inch. Santa Cruz heeft een aantal van zijn kenmerkende vaardigheden op het gebied van gitaarbouw ingezet om de grootte van het klankgat, de positie van de brugplaat en de kromming van het bovenblad te manipuleren en zo een ideale EQ voor de RS te creëren, een grote, omarmbare metgezel met een heel mooi uiterlijk!

De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een koffer van Ameritage.

In that spirit, Santa Cruz Guitar Company has introduced the RS model. It’s much more than a tribute to the 1937 guitar virtuoso who performed on these luxurious stage instruments, specially tuned for Hawaiian playing styles. This gorgeous retro model features the changes modern guitarists have been asking for to make vintage instruments compatible with today’s fretting styles.


The RS is designed for a commanding presence. The SCGC’s specially tapered bracing and body depth give the instrument considerable headroom to play hard while maintaining tonal color. The neck is designed for maximum string clearance at the nut for crystal clear fingering, and the right hand is also given more room, some 23.5 inches, between the outer strings.


The smoothness of the 24.75-inch scale length adds to the playability. Santa Cruz has used some of its trademark guitar-making skills to manipulate the soundhole size, bridge plate position and top curvature to create an ideal EQ for the RS, a large, huggable companion with a very nice look!


The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in an Ameritage hardshell case.

In diesem Sinne hat die Santa Cruz Guitar Company das RS-Modell eingeführt. Es ist viel mehr als eine Hommage an den Gitarrenvirtuosen von 1937, der auf diesen luxuriösen Bühneninstrumenten spielte, die speziell auf hawaiianische Spielstile gestimmt waren. Dieses wunderschöne Retro-Modell weist die Änderungen auf, die sich moderne Gitarristen gewünscht haben, um Vintage-Instrumente mit den heutigen Bundstilen kompatibel zu machen.


Der RS ​​ist auf eine imposante Präsenz ausgelegt. Die speziell konische Verstrebung und die Korpustiefe des SCGC verleihen dem Instrument beträchtlichen Spielraum für kraftvolles Spielen bei gleichzeitiger Beibehaltung der Klangfarbe. Der Hals ist für einen maximalen Saitenabstand am Sattel ausgelegt, um ein kristallklares Fingerspiel zu ermöglichen. Zudem steht der rechten Hand zwischen den äußeren Saiten mehr Platz zur Verfügung, etwa 23,5 Zoll.


Die Glätte der Mensur von 24,75 Zoll trägt zur Spielbarkeit bei. Santa Cruz hat einige seiner typischen Gitarrenbaufähigkeiten genutzt, um die Schalllochgröße, die Position der Stegplatte und die Deckenkrümmung zu manipulieren und so einen idealen EQ für die RS zu schaffen, einen großen, kuscheligen Begleiter mit einem sehr schönen Aussehen!


Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einem Hartschalenkoffer von Ameritage geliefert.
