Deze Martin OM28 uit de Custom Shop combineert een rijke traditie met moderne verfijning. Met een Adirondack sparren bovenblad, een klankkast van prachtig Cocobolo en een compact bodyformaat is het Orchestra Model perfect voor akoestische solo-performances, bluesoptredens en alles daartussenin. De hals met 'Modified Low Oval' profiel en 'Performing Artist' taper zorgt voor een soepele, comfortabele speelervaring, terwijl het klassieke Martin-logo op de palissander kopplaat de vintage uitstraling compleet maakt.
En dan die klank, puur en onmiskenbaar Martin. Diepe, krachtige bassen, sprankelende hoge tonen en een responsieve dynamiek maken de OM28 een droom voor fingerstyle-spelers en strummers. Voor zowel subtiele melodieën of stevige akkoorden, deze gitaar levert een warme, gebalanceerde sound met een tijdloze resonantie. Ook op visueel gebied scoort deze Martin goed met zijn ivoroid bodybinding, abalone rozet en fraaie tortoise slagplaat.
De gitaar is gebouwd in 2013, en verkeert in excellente conditie. Op het bovenblad zijn speelsporen en meerdere dings te vinden, en ook op de klankkast en hals bevinden zich speelsporen. Verder vinden we op de schouder aan de treblezijde een lakchip, terwijl de binding van het achterblad bij de heelcap gekrompen is. Langs de binding op de schouders van het achterblad zijn daarnaast meerdere lakchips te vinden, ook met de gekrompen binding als oorzaak. Tenslotte zijn de brugpinnen vervangen door Martin Liquid Metal, en de oorspronkelijke Waverly stemmechanieken zijn vervangen door exemplaren van Grover.
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een TKL koffer.

The neck with its Modified Low Oval profile and Performing Artist taper provides a smooth, comfortable playing experience, while the classic Martin logo on the rosewood headstock overlay completes the vintage look.
And then there's the tone: pure and unmistakably Martin. Deep, powerful bass, sparkling highs, and responsive dynamics make the OM28 a dream for fingerstyle players and strummers. Whether for subtle melodies or heavy chords, this guitar delivers a warm, balanced sound with timeless resonance. Visually, this Martin also scores well with its ivoroid body binding, abalone rosette, and beautiful tortoiseshell pickguard.
The guitar was built in 2013 and is in excellent condition. Playwear and several dings are found on the top, and there are also playwear marks on the back and neck. Furthermore, there is a lacquer chip on the shoulder on the treble side, and the binding on the back has shrunk at the heel cap. Several lacquer chips are also found along the binding on the back shoulders, also caused by the shrunken binding. Finally, the bridge pins have been replaced with Martin Liquid Metal, and the original Waverly tuners have been replaced with Grover ones.
The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a TKL hardshell case.

Die Gitarre wurde 2013 gebaut und ist in exzellentem Zustand. Die Decke weist Spielspuren und einige kleine Dellen auf, ebenso wie Boden und Hals. Außerdem befindet sich am Halsansatz auf der Diskantseite eine kleine Lackabplatzung, und das Binding am Halsansatz ist geschrumpft. Entlang des Bindings an den Halsansätzen finden sich ebenfalls mehrere Lackabplatzungen, die durch das Schrumpfen des Bindings verursacht wurden. Die Stegstecker wurden durch Martin Liquid Metal ersetzt, und die originalen Waverly-Mechaniken wurden gegen Grover-Mechaniken ausgetauscht.
Die Gitarre wird mit einem TFOA-Pass und in einem TKL-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
