Collings is certainly not the only luthier building the 14 fret dreadnought, but their instruments do convey a certain tonal clarity in the low end and warmth typically associated with the dreadnought.

De configuratie die voor de Collings D2H is gekozen omvat een met de hand afgestemd Sitka sparren bovenblad afgezet met mooie herringbone-purfling en ivoroid-binding.
De klassieke setup geeft het instrument veel volume, maar ook een bepaalde compressie, wat zo goed klinkt samen met de gebalanceerde klank en boventonen van een klankkast gemaakt van Indisch palissander.
Deze D2H uit 2010 heeft wat speelsporen en dings verzameld op de klankkast en het bovenblad, en ook de headstock heeft enkele kleine dings en wat lakchips op de randen opgelopen. Daarnaast heeft de gitaar een K&K Pure mini pickup en strap button, dus hij is voorbereid op live-gebruik! De gitaar is echter zeer schoon en verkeert in excellente conditie.

While the bass response makes the dreadnought perfect for vocal accompaniment, a Collings dreadnought is guaranteed to satisfy even the most distinguished bluegrass flatpicker. The configuration chosen for the Collings D2H features a hand-tuned Sitka spruce top trimmed with beautiful herringbone purfling and ivoroid binding.
This classic setup gives the instrument plenty of volume but also a certain compression, which sounds so good when combined with the balanced tone and overtones of the Indian rosewood back and sides.
This 2010 D2H has some playwear and dings on the back and sides and top, and the headstock also has a few small dings and some lacquer chips on the edges. The guitar also has a K&K Pure mini pickup and strap button, so it's ready for live use! However, the guitar is very clean and in excellent condition.
It comes with a TFOA passport and a hardshell case.

Diese D2H aus dem Jahr 2010 weist Gebrauchsspuren und kleinere Dellen an Boden, Zargen und Decke auf. Auch die Kopfplatte hat ein paar kleine Dellen und Lackabplatzer an den Kanten. Die Gitarre ist mit einem K&K Pure Mini-Tonabnehmer und einem Gurtknopf ausgestattet und somit sofort einsatzbereit für Live-Auftritte! Sie ist jedoch sehr sauber und in exzellentem Zustand.
Sie wird mit einem TFOA-Pass und einem Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
