Martin D35 1966 Brazilian Rosewood
Met een dreadnought body, een klankkast van Braziliaans palissander en een top van Sitka sparren is de D35 een gitaar die een vertrouwd gevoel geeft. De mahoniehouten hals is voorzien van een comfortabel 'round V'-profiel en is een genot om te spelen. Het hout ziet er ook prachtig uit en geeft deze dreadnought een volle en diepe klank die bij strumming zijn krachtige power laat horen.
Deze Martin D35 uit 1966 vertoont speelsporen en craquelé die te verwachten zijn op een vintage instrument. De binding op de hals en body vertoont scheurtjes op diverse plaatsen, en op de achterzijde van de klankkast zijn enkele gerepareerde cracks te vinden, net als een overspray. De gitaar heeft verder een neck reset ondergaan, vervangen brugpinnen, topkam en brugzadel, maar beschikt nog over de originele Grover Rotomatic stemmechanieken.
De gitaar verkeert over het geheel gezien in zeer goede staat, en klinkt zoals van een vintage Martin verwacht mag worden. De gitaar wordt met CITES geleverd in een koffer.
