De 2KC is volledig opgebouwd uit massief Hawaïaans koa wat zorgt voor warme boventonen een heldere respons en een rijke muzikale klank. Het instrument valt ook visueel op door het fraaie hout ivoroid binding en een subtiele white black rosette. De rosewood toets en brug dragen bij aan een comfortabele speelervaring en de afwerking is zoals we van Martin gewend zijn van topkwaliteit.
