This Martin OM-28E from 2024 is a wonderful example of how Martin combines traditional craftsmanship with modern functionality. With its elegant Diamonds & Squares inlays, Indian rosewood body, and Sitka spruce top, this guitar delivers exactly what you would expect from an OM-28, both visually and sonically.

Het OM-model, oorspronkelijk geïntroduceerd in 1929 als het Orchestra Model, werd destijds ontwikkeld voor de veeleisende fingerstyle-gitarist die zowel volume als articulatie nodig had. De langere mensuur van 25,4 inch en de smallere body maakten de OM tot een favoriet onder solisten. De 28-serie, met zijn kenmerkende palissander en sparren, vertegenwoordigt sinds de jaren 1930 de premiumlijn van Martin.
Deze OM28E uit 2024 combineert de warme, rijke klank van Indisch palissander met de sprankelende hoge tonen van het Sitka sparren bovenblad. Het resultaat is een gebalanceerd geluid met zowel krachtige bassen als kristalheldere hoge tonen, ideaal voor fingerstyle maar ook voor dynamisch flatpicking! De ingebouwde Fishman Aura VT pickup maakt deze gitaar ook geschikt voor het podium, zonder afbreuk te doen aan zijn natuurlijke akoestische geluid.
Deze Martin OM-28E uit 2024 vertoont lichte speelsporen. Op het bovenblad bevindt zich een klein deukje aan de treble-zijde, daarnaast zijn er nog enkele minimale, verspreide sporen zichtbaar op het bovenblad. Daarnaast is er een klein deukje zichtbaar op de zijkant van de body aan de treble-kant. Verder zijn er enkele lichte krasjes op de achterzijde van de body en minimale gebruikssporen verspreid over de gitaar. Ondanks deze cosmetische imperfecties oogt het instrument zeer verzorgd en schoon.
De gitaar wordt geleverd in een originele Martin TKL-koffer, inclusief TFOA-paspoort.
The OM model, originally introduced in 1929 as the Orchestra Model, was developed for the demanding fingerstyle guitarist who required both volume and articulation. Its longer 25.4-inch scale length and narrower body quickly made the OM a favorite among soloists. Since the 1930s, the 28 Series, renowned for its rosewood and spruce combination, has represented Martin’s premium line.
This OM-28E from 2024 combines the warm, rich tone of Indian rosewood with the sparkling highs of a Sitka spruce top. The result is a beautifully balanced sound with strong bass response and crystal-clear trebles, ideal for fingerstyle playing as well as dynamic flatpicking. The built-in Fishman Aura VT pickup also makes this guitar perfectly suited for stage use, without compromising its natural acoustic character.
This Martin OM-28E from 2024 shows light signs of use. There is a small ding on the top at the treble side, along with a few minimal, scattered marks visible across the top. Additionally, a small dent is visible on the side of the body at the treble side. The back of the body shows a few light surface scratches and there are minimal playwear marks across the instrument. Despite these cosmetic imperfections, the guitar remains very clean and well-kept in appearance.
The guitar comes in its original Martin TKL case, including the TFOA passport.

Diese OM-28E aus 2024 vereint den warmen, vollen Klang von indischem Palisander mit den brillanten Höhen einer Sitka-Fichtendecke. Das Ergebnis ist ein ausgewogenes Klangbild mit kräftigen Bässen und kristallklaren Höhen – ideal für Fingerstyle ebenso wie für dynamisches Flatpicking. Das integrierte Fishman Aura VT Pickup-System macht diese Gitarre zudem bühnentauglich, ohne den natürlichen akustischen Klang zu beeinträchtigen.
Diese Martin OM-28E aus 2024 weist leichte Spielspuren auf. Auf der Decke befindet sich eine kleine Delle auf der Treble-Seite, zudem sind einige minimale, vereinzelte Gebrauchsspuren auf der Decke sichtbar. Zusätzlich ist eine kleine Delle an der Zarge auf der Treble-Seite sichtbar. Auf der Rückseite des Korpus finden sich einige leichte Kratzer sowie minimale Gebrauchsspuren über das Instrument verteilt. Trotz dieser rein kosmetischen Makel wirkt die Gitarre sehr gepflegt und sauber.
Die Gitarre wird im originalen Martin-TKL-Koffer inklusive TFOA-Pass geliefert.
