Collings CJ Sunburst Indian Rosewood Sitka Spruce 2019
De CJ, Collings Jumbo, is Collings' interpretatie van een van de all-time classics in de gitaarwereld, de Gibson J45. De slope shoulder is een model dat door de jaren heen altijd een trouwe schare fans heeft behouden, en deze gitaristen roemen het model om zijn unieke sound. Terwijl de gitaar niet opvallend groter is dan een dreadnought, onderscheidt de slope shoulder zich door een diepe, volle sound met een rijkelijk aanwezige bas, terwijl ook het hoog en midden prachtig gebalanceerd aanwezig is.
Het Sitka sparren bovenblad is gehuld in een prachtige subtiele sunburst, en wordt vergezeld door een Indisch palissander klankkast omlijst in een ivoroid binding. De mahonie hals met stevig C-profiel en is door de compound radius over de gehele lengte van 25.5 inch comfortabel te bespelen. De hals wordt gedecoreerd door een ivoroid binding, parelmoer stipinleg en een ebben kopplaat.
De gitaar is gebouwd in 2019, en heeft lichte speelsporen en enkele kleine dings op het bovenblad. Ook op de achterzijde van de klankkast zijn zeer minimale speelsporen te vinden, maar de gitaar is verder bijzonder schoon. Zoals we van Collings gewend zijn is ook deze CJ van buitengewone kwaliteit. De gebruikte materialen voldoen aan de hoogste standaard en de afwerking zal de liefhebber doen watertanden. Het is niet voor niets dat deze gitaren niet lang in onze winkel blijven; als je er eenmaal een Collings hebt bespeeld wil je niets anders meer!
The CJ, Collings Jumbo, is Collings' interpretation of one of the all-time classics in the guitar world, the Gibson J45. The slope-shoulder model has maintained a loyal fan base over the years, and these guitarists praise it for its unique sound. While the guitar isn't noticeably larger than a dreadnought, the slope-shoulder is distinguished by a deep, full sound with rich bass presence, while the highs and mids are also beautifully balanced.
The Sitka spruce top is wrapped in a beautiful, subtle sunburst and is accompanied by Indian rosewood back and sides framed by ivoroid binding. The mahogany neck has a solid C-profile and is comfortable to play thanks to its compound radius along its entire 25.5-inch length. The neck is adorned with ivoroid binding, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and an ebony headstock overlay.
The guitar was built in 2019 and has light playwear and a few small dings on the top. Very minimal playwear is also visible on the back of the body, but the guitar is otherwise exceptionally clean. As we've come to expect from Collings, this CJ is also of exceptional quality. The materials used are of the highest standard, and the finish will make any enthusiast drool. It's no wonder these guitars don't stay in our shop for long; once you've played a Collings, you won't want anything else!

Das Modell mit der charakteristischen Slope-Shoulder-Form hat sich über die Jahre eine treue Fangemeinde bewahrt, die es für seinen einzigartigen Klang lobt. Obwohl die Gitarre nicht merklich größer als eine Dreadnought ist, zeichnet sich die Slope-Shoulder durch einen tiefen, vollen Klang mit satten Bässen aus, während Höhen und Mitten wunderbar ausgewogen sind.
Die Sitka-Fichtendecke ist mit einem wunderschönen, dezenten Sunburst-Finish versehen und wird von Boden und Zargen aus indischem Palisander mit Ivoroid-Binding ergänzt. Der Mahagonihals hat ein solides C-Profil und ist dank seines Compound-Radius über die gesamte Länge von 25,5 Zoll komfortabel zu spielen. Der Hals ist mit Ivoroid-Binding, Perlmutt-Punktinlays und einem Ebenholz-Kopfplattenfurnier verziert.
Die Gitarre wurde 2019 gebaut und weist leichte Gebrauchsspuren sowie einige kleine Dellen auf der Decke auf. Auch auf der Rückseite des Korpus sind nur minimale Gebrauchsspuren sichtbar, ansonsten ist die Gitarre in einem außergewöhnlich guten Zustand. Wie von Collings gewohnt, ist auch diese CJ von herausragender Qualität. Die verwendeten Materialien sind erstklassig, und das Finish lässt jedes Gitarrenliebhaberherz höherschlagen. Kein Wunder, dass diese Gitarren bei uns schnell vergriffen sind; wer einmal eine Collings gespielt hat, will keine andere mehr!
