Known as the "Wizard of Strings," Roy Smeck could play almost any instrument he could get his hands on. But when it came to guitars, he favored slope-shoulder guitars with a wide nut and 12 frets to the body.
Atkin Hawaiian Master Aged Sunburst 2024
De Atkin Hawaiian Master is afgewerkt met een prachtige Aged Sunburst finish. Deze gitaar is gebaseerd op de geweldige Roy Smeck Stage Deluxe 12-fret flattop uit de jaren '30. Deze originele instrumenten kwamen uit de fabriek afgesteld als Hawaiian stijl, maar deze Atkin is afgesteld als een normale 6-string.
De gitaar beschikt over een mahonie klankkast met daarbij een Sitka sparren bovenblad voorzien van een fraaie firestripe slagplaat. De mahonie hals is door middel van een 12 fret-constructie verbonden aan de body, en is voorzien van een Santos palissander toets. De prachtige klank van deze gitaar leent zich uitstekend voor zowel strumming als fingerstyle, hij is enorm veelzijdig dus!
De uitmuntende bouwkwaliteit van Atkin wordt gecombineerd met precies de juiste hoeveelheid aging waardoor deze gitaar het uiterlijk en het gevoel van een vintage instrument, maar dan met de toegevoegde betrouwbaarheid van een modern instrument.
Deze Atkin is gebouwd in 2024, en verkeert in excellente conditie. De gitaar heeft naast de door Atkin aangebrachte veroudering wat lichte speelsporen verzameld, maar de gitaar is verder zeer netjes. Wordt met echtheidscertificaat geleverd in een TKL koffer.
The Atkin Hawaiian Master features a beautiful Aged Sunburst finish. This guitar is based on the magnificent Roy Smeck Stage Deluxe 12-fret flattop from the 1930s. These original instruments came factory-set up as Hawaiian-style, but this Atkin is set up as a standard 6-string.
The guitar features mahogany back and sides with a Sitka spruce top and a beautiful firestripe pickguard. The mahogany neck is connected to the body with a 12-fret construction and features a Santos rosewood fingerboard. The beautiful tone of this guitar lends itself perfectly to both strumming and fingerstyle, making it extremely versatile!
Atkin's excellent build quality is combined with just the right amount of aging, giving this guitar the look and feel of a vintage instrument, but with the added reliability of a modern one.
This Atkin was built in 2024 and is in excellent condition. Besides the aging applied by Atkin, the guitar has some light playwear, but is otherwise in very good condition. It comes with a certificate of authenticity in a TKL hardshell case.

Die Gitarre besitzt einen Mahagoni-Korpus mit einer Sitka-Fichtendecke und einem wunderschönen Firestripe-Schlagbrett. Der Mahagoni-Hals ist mit 12 Bünden am Korpus befestigt und verfügt über ein Griffbrett aus Santos-Palisander. Der wunderschöne Klang dieser Gitarre eignet sich perfekt sowohl für Strumming als auch für Fingerstyle und macht sie somit extrem vielseitig!
Atkins exzellente Verarbeitungsqualität trifft auf ein perfekt abgestimmtes Aged Sunburst-Finish, wodurch diese Gitarre den Look und das Spielgefühl eines Vintage-Instruments mit der Zuverlässigkeit eines modernen Instruments vereint.
Diese Atkin wurde 2024 gebaut und befindet sich in exzellentem Zustand. Abgesehen von der von Atkin vorgenommenen Alterung weist die Gitarre leichte Gebrauchsspuren auf, befindet sich aber ansonsten in sehr gutem Zustand. Sie wird mit einem Echtheitszertifikat in einem TKL-Koffer geliefert.
