The Traditional Series, or “T” models, are Collings' vintage-inspired take on their signature sound. These guitars are built to capture the character and responsiveness of prized pre-war instruments. Bracing and tonewoods are carefully adjusted for weight and thickness, resulting in a warm, rounded high end, a pronounced low midrange, and the quick attack and strong projection that Collings is known for.

Vanaf het moment dat we deze gitaar uit de koffer haalden, wisten we het meteen: dit is er eentje met dat beetje extra magie waar we altijd naar op zoek zijn. Met snaren in .012 dikte verraste hij ons meteen met een warm en rijk klankpalet—vol detail, dynamiek en een uitzonderlijk toonkarakter.
Deze OM1 maakt gebruik van het klassieke 14-fret Orchestra Model body design dat Martin in de jaren ’30 introduceerde, maar Collings heeft het naar een hoger niveau getild met een aantal hoogwaardige upgrades. De torrified Sitka spruce top zorgt voor een complexe, responsieve sound die perfect samengaat met het warme, bluesy karakter. Dankzij de 1 3/4" topkambreedte is er net wat meer ruimte voor verfijnd fingerstyle spel.
Zoals we van Collings gewend zijn, is de afwerking en bouwkwaliteit van het allerhoogste niveau. Deze OM1 is gemaakt van prachtige houtsoorten, waaronder subtiel gevlamd Hondurees mahonie en een smaakvol getinte, smal gevlamde top.
De gitaar is gebouwd in 2022 en vertoont wat lichte gebruikssporen zoals krasjes en deukjes op de top en slagplaat, maar verkeert verder in uitstekende staat. Wordt geleverd in een hardshell koffer met TFOA paspoort.
From the moment we took it out of the case, we knew this guitar had that extra bit of magic we’re always searching for. Strung with .012s, it immediately impressed us with a warm and rich bouquet of tones—detailed, dynamic, and tonally exceptional.
This OM1 features the classic 14-fret Orchestra Model body shape introduced by Martin in the 1930s, but Collings has taken it to the next level with premium upgrades. A torrefied Sitka spruce top adds depth and complexity, with a tight, responsive feel that complements its warm, bluesy character. The 1 3/4" nut width provides a bit of extra space for intricate fingerstyle playing.
As you’d expect from Collings, the build quality and craftsmanship are second to none. This OM1 showcases carefully selected woods, including subtly flamed Honduran mahogany and a tastefully toned, narrowly flamed soundboard.
Built in 2022, it shows some light dings and scratches on the top and pickguard, but overall it remains in excellent condition. Comes in a hardshell case with TFOA passport.

Wie von Collings nicht anders zu erwarten, sind die Verarbeitungsqualität und die handwerklichen Fähigkeiten unübertroffen. Diese OM1 präsentiert sorgfältig ausgewählte Hölzer, darunter subtil geflammtes honduranisches Mahagoni und einen geschmackvoll getönten, schmal geflammten Resonanzboden.
Sie wurde 2022 gebaut und weist einige leichte Dellen und Kratzer auf der Decke und dem Schlagbrett auf, ist aber insgesamt in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Sie wird in einem Hartschalenkoffer mit TFOA-Pass geliefert.
