De MJ is een middelgrote Jumbo uit het rijke assortiment van Huss & Dalton, voor dit exemplaar is een interessante combinatie van houtsoorten gebruikt. De klankkast is gemaakt van een fantastische set Koa, de houtsoort die naast een bijzonder fraai uiterlijk ook een geweldige klank heeft met een gefocust midden en een prachtige helderheid. Het ceder bovenblad geeft de gitaar een snelle respons en werkt als het ware als een compressor; zachte noten worden luider, en het volume heeft een lager plafond dan bijvoorbeeld sparren.
Bij Huss & Dalton worden traditionele bouwtechnieken gecombineerd met innovatieve benaderingen om het maximale uit elk instrument te halen. Hun gitaren worden met de hand gebouwd in kleine oplages, met uitsluitend de beste houtsoorten en materialen. De focus ligt op kwaliteit boven kwantiteit, wat resulteert in gitaren die zowel door professionals als verzamelaars worden gekoesterd. Deze MJ is gebouwd in 2011, zoals aan de onderzijde van het bovenblad is te lezen in een notitie van de luthier. Op het bovenblad bevinden zich lichte speelsporen en enkele kleine dings, en op de achterzijde van de hals zijn ook enkele zeer kleine dings te vinden. De gitaar is verder echter bijzonder schoon, en wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een Huss & Dalton tweed koffer.

The MJ is a mid-sized Jumbo from Huss & Dalton's extensive range, featuring an interesting combination of woods. The back and sides are crafted from a fantastic set of Koa, a wood that not only looks exceptionally beautiful but also delivers a superb tone with a focused midrange and beautiful clarity. The cedar top gives the guitar a quick response and acts as a compressor, amplifying soft notes and providing a lower volume ceiling than, for example, spruce.

Their guitars are handcrafted in small batches, using only the finest woods and materials. This MJ was built in 2011, as can be read in a luthier's note on the underside of the top. The top shows light playwear and a few minor dings, and there are also some very minor dings on the back of the neck. Otherwise, the guitar is exceptionally clean and comes with a TFOA passport in a Huss & Dalton tweed hardshell case.

Boden und Zargen sind aus fantastischem Koa gefertigt, einem Holz, das nicht nur außergewöhnlich schön aussieht, sondern auch einen hervorragenden Klang mit fokussierten Mitten und brillanter Klarheit liefert. Die Zederndecke verleiht der Gitarre ein schnelles Ansprechverhalten und wirkt dämpfend, indem sie leise Töne verstärkt und im Vergleich zu beispielsweise Fichte eine geringere maximale Lautstärke ermöglicht.
Bei Huss & Dalton werden traditionelle Bautechniken mit innovativen Ansätzen kombiniert, um das Potenzial jedes Instruments voll auszuschöpfen. Diese MJ wurde 2011 gebaut, wie aus einer Notiz des Gitarrenbauers auf der Unterseite der Decke hervorgeht. Die Decke weist leichte Spielspuren und einige kleinere Dellen auf, ebenso wie der Halsrücken. Ansonsten ist die Gitarre in einem außergewöhnlich guten Zustand und wird mit einem TFOA-Pass in einem Huss & Dalton Tweed-Hartschalenkoffer geliefert.
