Deze geheel nieuwe afwerking is een ultradunne nitrocelluloselak met zowel satijn- als glanskwaliteiten die de natuurlijke schoonheid van het klankhout benadrukken. Met een nog gladdere textuur dan de originele nitrocellulose satijnen afwerking, is de Vintage Gloss voorzien van een met de hand gespoten zachte, zijdeachtige coating die elke gitaar een ingespeeld vintage gevoel en klank geeft, met een moderne, strakke uitstraling.
Met verfijnde kenmerken en een eersteklas geluid beschikt de D50 Standard over een massief Sitka Spruce bovenblad met massief Indisch palissander achter- en zijkanten, voor een rijk, krachtig geluid met uitzonderlijke warmte en complexiteit. De huidige D50 Standard getuigt van vintage charme met tijdloze details zoals een tortoise celluloid slagplaat, witte ABS binding en Guild’s peak logo-inleg op de kop.
Guild voegt scalloped Adirondack bracing toe voor kracht, nuance en reactievermogen. Gecombineerd met een Sitka Spruce bovenblad en Indisch palissander achterblad en zijkanten, zorgt deze versteviging voor een krachtige klank met een soepel hoog. Een toets van Indisch palissander bedekt de comfortabele mahoniehouten hals met C-profiel. Hoogwaardige materialen zoals een brug van Indisch palissanderhout, 20:1 open-gear stemmechanieken en een handgesneden benen topkam en zadel maken de D-50 Standard af.
De gitaar wordt met TFOA paspoort geleverd in een Guild archtop koffer met bevochtigingssysteem.

This all-new finish is an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer with both satin and gloss qualities that emphasize the natural beauty of the tonewood. With an even smoother texture than the original nitrocellulose satin finish, the Vintage Gloss features a hand-sprayed soft, silky coating that gives each guitar a played-in vintage feel and tone, with a modern, sleek look.
With refined features and a premium sound, the D50 Standard features a solid Sitka Spruce top with solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, for a rich, powerful sound with exceptional warmth and complexity. The current D50 Standard exudes vintage charm with timeless details such as a tortoise celluloid pickguard, white ABS binding and Guild's peak logo inlay on the headstock.
Guild adds scalloped Adirondack bracing for strength, nuance and responsiveness. Combined with a Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides, this reinforcement provides a powerful sound with a smooth high. An Indian rosewood fingerboard covers the comfortable mahogany neck with C-profile. High-quality materials such as an Indian rosewood bridge, 20:1 open-gear tuners and a hand-carved bone nut and saddle complete the D-50 Standard.
The guitar comes with TFOA passport in a Guild archtop case with humidification system.
