In 1934 introduceerde Martin de OM-body met 14 frets, een ontwerp dat sindsdien een van de meest geliefde akoestische gitaarformaten is geworden. Santa Cruz eert deze erfenis met hun 1934 OM, waarbij ze vasthouden aan de klassieke verhoudingen en bouwmethoden die dit model zo bijzonder maken!
Voor deze beperkte serie koos Santa Cruz voor old growth mahonie en Adirondack sparren, houtsoorten die ooit standaard waren maar tegenwoordig zeer zeldzaam zijn. Het old growth hout heeft een dichtere nerf door de langzamere groei, wat resulteert in superieure resonantie en een klank die alleen maar beter wordt met de jaren.
De combinatie van old growth mahonie en Adirondack sparren levert een klank op die zowel warm als helder is, met een prachtige balans tussen de registers. De mahonie klankkast zorgt voor een directe, droge sound met uitstekende definitie, terwijl het Adirondack bovenblad de noten kracht en projectie geeft.
Deze Santa Cruz uit 2021 ziet er nog zeer schoon en verzorgd uit en heeft slechts lichte speelsporen. Deze zijn voornamelijk zichtbaar op het bovenblad en de slagplaat, terwijl er op de achterzijde van de headstock enkele oppervlakkige dings te vinden zijn. De gitaar verkeert in excellente conditie en wordt geleverd in een prachtige koffer met TFOA-paspoort.

For this limited series, Santa Cruz selected old growth mahogany and Adirondack spruce, tonewoods that were once standard but are now extremely rare. Old growth wood features a tighter grain due to slower growth, resulting in superior resonance and a tone that only improves with age.
The combination of old growth mahogany and Adirondack spruce produces a tone that is both warm and clear, with a beautiful balance across the registers. The mahogany body delivers a direct, dry sound with excellent definition, while the Adirondack top provides power and projection to every note.
This Santa Cruz from 2021 looks exceptionally clean and well cared for, with only light playwear. These marks are mainly visible on the top and pickguard, while a few superficial dings can be found on the back of the headstock. The guitar is in excellent condition and comes in a beautiful case with a TFOA passport.

Die Kombination aus Old-Growth-Mahagoni und Adirondack-Fichte erzeugt einen Klang, der sowohl warm als auch klar ist, mit einer wunderschönen Balance über alle Register hinweg. Der Mahagoni-Korpus sorgt für einen direkten, trockenen Sound mit hervorragender Definition, während die Adirondack-Decke den Noten Kraft und Projektion verleiht.
Diese Santa Cruz aus 2021 präsentiert sich sehr sauber und gepflegt und weist nur leichte Spielspuren auf. Diese sind hauptsächlich auf der Decke und dem Schlagbrett sichtbar, während sich auf der Rückseite der Kopfplatte einige oberflächliche Dings befinden. Die Gitarre befindet sich in exzellentem Zustand und wird in einem wunderschönen Koffer mit TFOA-Pass geliefert.
