Gretsch Custom Shop G6134T Heavy Relic Lake Placid Blue Chad Henrichsen Masterbuilt

De G6134 werd in 1955 geïntroduceerd als onderdeel van Gretsch’ premium lijn en groeide al snel uit tot favoriet onder veeleisende muzikanten. Deze Custom Shop uitvoering blijft trouw aan dat erfgoed en biedt hetzelfde klassieke single-cut hollowbody ontwerp met een authentiek vintage karakter.

De Lake Placid Blue finish met Heavy Relic behandeling geeft de gitaar een opvallende uitstraling, perfect aangevuld met verouderde zilveren Sparkle binding en een zilveren Plexi slagplaat. Samen zorgen ze voor een tijdloze look die pure vintage elegantie uitstraalt. De flamed maple hals met ebben toets voelt solide en comfortabel aan, terwijl de 12-inch radius en het C-profiel zorgen voor soepele bespeelbaarheid. De FilterTron pickups leveren de onmiskenbare Gretsch-sound: helder, articuleerd en vol karakter, terwijl de Bigsby tremolo expressieve mogelijkheden toevoegt zonder concessies te doen aan de stemming.

Deze gitaar is gebouwd door Chad Henrichsen, die zijn jarenlange ervaring bij Fender in 2008 meenam naar de Gretsch Custom Shop. Bekend om zijn oog voor detail en streven naar perfectie, bouwt Henrichsen instrumenten die zowel muzikaal als visueel indrukwekkend zijn. Introduced in 1955 as part of Gretsch’s premium line, the G6134 quickly became a favorite among demanding musicians. This Custom Shop version stays true to that legacy, offering the same classic single-cut hollowbody design with an authentic vintage character.

The Lake Placid Blue finish with Heavy Relic treatment gives this guitar a striking look, perfectly complemented by aged silver Sparkle binding and a silver Plexi pickguard. Together they create a timeless appearance that radiates vintage elegance. The flamed maple neck with ebony fingerboard offers a solid and comfortable feel, while the 12-inch radius and C-profile provide smooth playability. The FilterTron pickups deliver the unmistakable Gretsch sound: bright, articulate, and full of character, while the Bigsby tremolo adds expressive depth without compromising tuning stability.

This instrument was handbuilt by Chad Henrichsen, who brought his years of experience at Fender into the Gretsch Custom Shop in 2008. Known for his precision and perfectionism, Henrichsen crafts instruments that are as refined in tone as they are in looks. This G6134T is a true example of his artistry, combining tradition, craftsmanship, and musicality into one exceptional guitar.

Dieses Instrument wurde von Chad Henrichsen handgefertigt, der 2008 seine langjährige Erfahrung bei Fender in den Gretsch Custom Shop einbrachte.
