Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus Limited Edition 2002

2002 wordt algemeen beschouwd als een topjaar voor Gibson Les Paul modellen en markeert bovendien het 50-jarig jubileum van deze iconische single-cut gitaar. Ter gelegenheid daarvan bracht Gibson een gelimiteerde oplage uit van de Studio Plus Les Paul.

In totaal zijn er slechts 200 exemplaren gebouwd van deze Studio Plus Limited Edition, waarvan er maar 50 voorzien zijn van een uitzonderlijk fraaie AAA-grade esdoorn top. Dit exemplaar is er daar één van.

Met een mahoniehouten body en een carved AAA esdoorn top levert deze Les Paul een rijke, volle klank zoals je die mag verwachten van een hoogwaardige Gibson. De classic '57 humbuckers zorgen voor die herkenbare punchy sound met het warme karakter van de jaren vijftig. Verder is alles zoals je het kent en waardeert in een echte Les Paul: Tune-o-Matic brug, stop tailpiece, Grover tuners en een palissander toets.

Deze gitaar verkeert in uitstekende staat. We moesten goed zoeken om gebruikerssporen te vinden, want de vorige eigenaar heeft er duidelijk goed voor gezorgd. Er zijn een paar kleine deukjes op de kop en een kleine beschadiging op de top, maar verder is de gitaar nagenoeg onaangetast.

Wordt geleverd in een hardshell koffer met TFOA-paspoort.

2002 is widely considered a standout year for Gibson Les Pauls, marking the 50th anniversary of the iconic single-cut model. To celebrate this milestone, Gibson released a limited run of Studio Plus Les Pauls.

Only 200 pieces of the Studio Plus Limited Edition were made, and just 50 of those were built with especially beautiful AAA-grade maple tops. This guitar is one of those 50.

With a mahogany body and carved AAA maple top, this Les Paul delivers the kind of rich, resonant tone you'd expect from a well-made Gibson. It's loaded with classic '57 humbuckers that provide the punchy, warm tone reminiscent of the golden-era '50s sound. Everything else is classic Les Paul: Tune-o-Matic bridge, stop tailpiece, Grover tuners, and a rosewood fingerboard.

This guitar is in excellent condition. We had to look closely to find any signs of use, as the previous owner clearly took great care of it. There are a few small dings on the headstock and a minor ding on the top, but the rest is virtually untouched.

Das Jahr 2002 gilt weithin als ein herausragendes Jahr für Gibson Les Pauls, denn es markiert das 50-jährige Jubiläum des kultigen Single-Cut-Modells. Um diesen Meilenstein zu feiern, brachte Gibson eine limitierte Auflage der Studio Plus Les Pauls heraus.


Nur 200 Stück der Studio Plus Limited Edition wurden hergestellt, und nur 50 davon wurden mit besonders schönen AAA-Grade Ahorndecken gebaut. Diese Gitarre ist eine von diesen 50.


Mit einem Mahagonikorpus und einer geschnitzten AAA-Ahorndecke liefert diese Les Paul den satten, resonanten Ton, den man von einer gut gemachten Gibson erwartet. Sie ist mit klassischen 57er-Humbuckern bestückt, die den druckvollen, warmen Ton liefern, der an den goldenen Sound der 50er Jahre erinnert. Alles andere ist klassisch Les Paul: Tune-o-Matic Brücke, Stop Tailpiece, Grover Mechaniken und ein Palisandergriffbrett.


Diese Gitarre befindet sich in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Wir mussten genau hinsehen, um Gebrauchsspuren zu finden, da der Vorbesitzer sie offensichtlich sehr gut gepflegt hat. Es gibt ein paar kleine Dellen an der Kopfplatte und eine kleine Delle an der Decke, aber der Rest ist praktisch unversehrt.


Enthält einen Hartschalenkoffer und einen TFOA-Pass.
