Alister Atkin the 43 Sunburst gebaseerd op de befaamde J45. Maurice van Hoek, Douwe Bob en Daniel Lohues bespelen inmiddels dit model en met een goede reden. Ze zien er niet alleen geweldig uit, maar klinken ook nog eens zeer indrukwekkend. Bijna als een echte 70 jaar oude vintage gitaar.
Deze Forty Three viert het 25-jarig bestaan van Atkin, en hoewel deze gitaar geïnspireerd is door gitaren die ondertussen bijna 80 jaar oud zijn, viert deze Forty Three te unieke benadering en constructie die ervoor zorgen dat Atkin's zo fantastisch klinken. Dat lijkt ons een hele mooie nalatenschap waar met trots op teruggekeken kan worden.
De mooie oude gecraqueleerde lak over de donkere sunburst, met mahonie hals en palissander toets en brug die een vintage uitstraling heeft maar tegelijkertijd speelt als een nieuwe, maakt deze gitaar toch wel tot iets heel bijzonders. De grote 'slope shoulder' kast in combinatie met de gebakken Sitka sparren top en mahonie achterkant en zijkanten, levert warme middentonen, solide lage tonen en een geweldige definitie.

This Forty Three celebrates Atkin's 25th anniversary, and while this guitar is inspired by guitars that are now nearly 80 years old, this Forty Three celebrates the unique approach and construction that make Atkin's sound so great. We think that is a very beautiful legacy that they can look back on with pride.
This beautifully aged weatherchecked lacquer, dark sunburst, with mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard and bridge that has all the looks and feel of a real vintage guitar but plays like a new one. The big-bodied slope shoulder shape, combined with our Baked Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, delivers warm mids, solid lows and great definition.

Die große, slope shoulder Bauform in Kombination mit der Baked Sitka-Fichtendecke und Mahagoni-Boden und -Zargen liefert warme Mitten, solide Bässe und eine hervorragende Definition.
